Don't know if anyone remembers my post from August.  Basically the
surging at idle thing; surging when accelerating; unable to accelerate
smoothly.
Several people suggested cleaning the IAC/IAB/Idle Air Bypass Valve.

hehe.. I just used J-B Weld (and J-B Kwik (weld)) to fix 3 bathtub knobs
(hot, cold, shower). I was just curious if anybody has ever used J-B Weld on
any automotive application.

   Well, I've finally got the engine and gearbox out of the Stang (7 hours
no less!) and am ready to order the parts that need replacing!  I wanted to
buy a steering box rebuild kit, and therefore need to know the dia. of the
Steeda Tri-Ax in a '66 with T-530 Nov 2003 01:17 GMT3
If I use the Tri-Ax on the T-5 I drop into my '66 can I use a different
handle? I'd want to use one that looks stock, but with the benefits of the
better shifter base. Would this be a waste of time?

OK, so im ready to pull the cylinders out of the block, what do i use
to take the ridge off? And ive got one of those reamers with the
little balls on it to do cleanup (got it from a friend). I put it in
the drill and then do i start from the top of the cylinder or the

The car is an original rust free California car.  The original color was
green.  It has a 3 speed and a 289 engine.  The 289 engine in it currently
is not the factory 289.  The car is currently in Reno.  Let me know if you
