Door hinge cracked13 Apr 2004 07:22 GMT10
My driver's side door recently started popping when I open it. Looked at it
today in the light, and it looks like the hinge is cracked.
Can I just replace the hinge? Is it expensive? Is it difficult or should I
seek help? ;-)
GT brake upgrade questions13 Apr 2004 05:43 GMT9
I am once again, considering upgrading Charlene's brakes.  I don't want to
overboard.  All I'm after is better fade resistance and perhaps another 20%
braking capacity.
Preferably without red calipers, thanks.

We will be moving to North Carolina in the early part of next month. I was
wondering what to expect in the way of emission and car testing laws there.

Dropped the car off at the shop to get the new R & P put in and the new
tires mounted. I told Steve (another Mustang guy and the manager of a huge
chain of tire stores in OKC) that he would have to bang a socket onto the
lock nuts of the back wheel because the key had been lost for ...

Sick gas gauge12 Apr 2004 02:00 GMT3
I have a '66 Mustang coupe with an inoperative gas gauge.  At this point,
I'm betting it's the sending unit in the tank as opposed to the gauge
itself.  Is there a simple test I can do with a DVM to determine if the
sending unit is good, before I go out and buy one?
