Stupid parking lot tricks: a new twist09 Apr 2004 05:16 GMT68
I've seen some unbelievably stupid things performed in parking lots.  Things
that you absolutely would not believe.  However, today, I have seen the
epitome of stupidity and arrogance.
I returned to my Beater Car after a bit of shopping at Costco with a
Can. versus U.S. 2004 GT pricing08 Apr 2004 22:45 GMT3
I've seen prices as low as $16,000 in the U.S.  Canada, best I've
seen is around $25,000 Can.  Even after dollar conversion and paying
our GST/PST tax, you could drive one over the border from the U.S.
for around $25,000 Can.  The Can. purchase would run you around
New Pics of Trouble's Interior08 Apr 2004 19:40 GMT3
I have a couple of new photos of my fastback from last night when we got the
carpet in.  This is the first time I've ever seen carpeting in the car, so
the transformation for me was pretty darn good.  :)
You can also kind of see the new billet horn button I've added.  It has

How many here autocross08 Apr 2004 09:29 GMT2
My father-in-law really wants me to autocross my Mustang.  He does it
with his Corvette, and my brother-in-law races his mom's S2000.
He claims it's alot more fun than it looks.  It doesn't look like much
fun.  :-)
5.0 vs 5.0 H.O.08 Apr 2004 05:43 GMT3
Anyone know what the difference is between these two motors?  I'm asking
since I have a Merc Grand Marquis 5.0 to put in my 1966 Mustang.  I bought
the Merc thinking the 5.0 was a high performance engine, but it isn't "High
Output."  Runs well though.
Convertible windows alignment help08 Apr 2004 03:21 GMT1
I have a 66 convertible.  The windows don't line up right.  I had to
replace the plastic rollers when I bought the car.  After rolling the
windows up and down for about a week, the rear quarter panel one
wouldn't come back up.  The old plastick was too brittle, so I
Swap 5.0 HO & EEC-IV into 1988 Ford LTD07 Apr 2004 19:59 GMT1
I realize that this post is slightly off-topic, and for that I
apologize in advance.
I am trying to plan an engine/computer swap for my project vehicle. I
want to install a complete mustang-spec engine into a 1988 Ford LTD
NG Poll > Scratch OHCs And Pay $800 Less?07 Apr 2004 18:29 GMT9
With the auto industry being such a cut-throat business these days, it
makes you wonder if Ford might not switch back to a pushrod design for
the their trucks, and dare we say it... their Mustang?

Any Definitive website for Mustangs?07 Apr 2004 18:17 GMT3
I'm looking for a website with as much info on the different styles
throughout the years from the 64 1/2 - 2004 (or 2005?).
I'd mostly like to see pictures of the different styles of each year, (GT
Cobra.. etc...).
5.0 parts in a 28907 Apr 2004 16:51 GMT5
Howdy! I was wondering if it is possible to use the roller cam and
lifters from a 5.0 mustang engine in my 289? If i did....are there any
modifications that i need to make to the block? I dont want to put a
5.0 in the car. I like the 289 so please dont tell me to "just put a
any problems with aluminum heads on 5.0s?07 Apr 2004 13:14 GMT12
Has anyone had problems getting new aluminum heads to seal properly on a 5.0
engine?
A friend of mine is doing body work on a 87 convertible while his "partner" is
doing the engine work.  The block was sent out for machine shop work, and it's
Round 2 (Warning...long)07 Apr 2004 13:04 GMT7
Well, today started out okay.
Went back to the tire shop. They put the car on the rack to redo the
alignment. Got it all done then went to balance the front tires. Rut roh
