2 Questions07 Apr 2004 04:47 GMT3
I am a proud new owner of a '03 Cobra Vert - silver:
1) I can hear a sound coming from the center console area that sounds
like the fan (i.e., heat, a/c)  is always on (it's not) - what is this
sound? I can hear this sound best at idle (is this the supercharger -

The other day, prior to getting my Mach-1, I was driving my GT, doing
about the fast lane of a local highway and I look into

TFP Switch Question06 Apr 2004 21:12 GMT3
I drive a 99 Mustang...3.8...no mods...just something to get to/from work
quickly.
I'm not only on "newbie" level for Mustangs, but for all things mechanical
as well, so I'll try to draw from the memory of my conversations with the
ISO Simple performance increase for my '66 200ci Conv.06 Apr 2004 20:14 GMT2
I have a '66 convertible with a 200ci.  I would like to drop in a 289
eventually, but time and money are very rare commodoties, as many of
you probably know.  I want to keep the 200ci for now, just so I can
drive the car.  Hell, that's why we bought them right?  It's a little
FS 4.6 litre Motor & Other 2001 GT parts06 Apr 2004 17:35 GMT1
I have a motor, trans, exhaust, rims, rear end, callipers, rotors etc.
This is out of  2001 GT with under 10,000k on it.
This was my car. The car had an interor fire so I have no interor parts.
I bought this back from the insurance company and was going put in something
2001 V6 RPM - Stall issues06 Apr 2004 16:48 GMT3
I have a 2001 V6 5 speed with 32,000 miles on it.
Upon coming to a stop I usually shift down to apply both engine and foot
break. Recently the engine acts as if it will stall out. Mind you, I only
again started using the car, it was in storage for winter. ;-) Anyway, the

Fuel pressure06 Apr 2004 14:55 GMT2
This is a little off topic for this group but.... I just finished
building an experimental plane powered by a 347 all aluminum small
block Ford. I am running a holley red pump upstream of my mechanical
carter pump feeding a Holley 500 cfm two barrel. At idle my fuel
Anyone need a 7.5 4:10 Trac-loc06 Apr 2004 08:27 GMT2
Just letting anyone know who may need this, I'm getting ready to eBay the

gears and trac-loc assy, no housing.  Have pics if anyone wants a look.
Thanks,

Mustang V6 Oil Change06 Apr 2004 04:15 GMT9
I changed the oil for the first time in my fiancee's Mustang over this
weekend. Previous to this, she had always taken it to the dealer. I
prepared by doing some web research but I could hardly find a post
that said where the drain plug is located. All the posts were about
