If I go in reverse and let the clutch engage the whole way my car will spit,
sputter, idle surge severely, get a check engine light for an instant, shut
off and blow smoke.
If I slip the clutch excessively it will back up fine.

Curious.... has anyone driven and compared both a newer GT vert and Cobra
vert? Just wondering how they compare in terms of suspension (stiffness,
comfort, noise, etc). Also, how about overall drivability? I see the Cobra

I have a 1985 GT Stock 5.0.
Right now the car is tuned to stock. I don't know what the stock setting is
for timing on these but i have heard that if you advance it that it can give
a bit more juice. Can somebody please tell me stock and what it can be
