No spark from coil on '67 Mustang 289 V821 Apr 2004 21:00 GMT5
Having a little problem  here.  I can't get any spark at all from the coil.
Replaced coil, solenoid switch, ignition switch, and voltage regulator.  It
has 12 volts on battery side & 12 volts on dist side of coil.  What the heck
am I overlooking!  8-)

Somewhere I read that the flywheel bolt holes on a 289's crankshaft
are drilled all the way through, so that you must use sealant on them
or they'll leak oil.  Is this true?  If so, what do you use, RTV
silicone or thread locker?

I have been watching the current trends in the hobby with great
interest.  Updating classic mustangs with Fuel injection, AOD
transmissions, modern creature comforts, Etc...

I need some advice on what to do with a 66 mustang with plenty of rust
damage.  The car runs well (rebuilt 302 with about 5,000 miles on it),
it just looks bad from the outside due to rust spots and the need of

Both power rear windows were working fine.
Then both rear windows stopped working at the same time.
Fronts work fine.
