66 mustang antenna swap10 May 2004 05:57 GMT4
I am trying to replace my broken stock antenna with a power unit.  How
do I get the old one out?  It is surrounded by metal.  Do I have to
remove the fender?
How are the 316 stroker kits?10 May 2004 05:03 GMT2
Anyone know anybody who has stroked their motor to a 316?  Any stories?
I fixed it! [66 6cyl.]10 May 2004 04:01 GMT2
I had an exhaust leak on my mustang since I bought it. The exhaust gasket
was gone completely. I used PB blaster on it for 2 days in a row then nut
came off on the left side and whole bolt came off on the right. Yay!
Everything went back on like a breeze too.
Slowstang gets a new pair of eyes.10 May 2004 03:40 GMT11
My 98GT's headlights and corners were starting to look pretty crappy
so I decided it was time to order some replacements.  I would have
rather just bought a $30 polishing kit to refurbish them myself, but
one headlight lense and one corner marker had cracks in them... so it
AOD 3.73 or 4.10 gear?10 May 2004 00:10 GMT10
I am still trying to decide which gear to put on my 89 GT AOD vert.  I keep
reading go with a 4.10 for an GT AOD vert, because it's heavy.  I understand
that.
I am worried if a 4.10 will be too much torque!
Cost for mufflers install10 May 2004 00:05 GMT3
I'm thinking about picking up some turbo mufflers from autozone & I'm
wondering what the general cost is for having new mufflers (dual exhaust.. 2
of 'em obviously) installed (98 Mustang GT). Anybody have a general price
range? I don't wanna get ripped off. Thanks!!
3.73 AOD10 May 2004 00:02 GMT34
89 GT vert AOD , Flow 40's, BBK o/r H pipe, K& N Filter.
I am thinking about putting in either a 3.55 or 3.73 rear gear.  If I make
this change, will I waste the AOD?
I don't plan on smokin the hell out of it but I do have concerns.  Thanks,
91 'stang question...09 May 2004 23:58 GMT4
Hello group! I posted a couple times in alt.autos.ford, someone advised me to check this group
(didn't know it existed).
I have a 91 mustang gt 5.0 convertible 136k mi.
I have neglected this car for over a year (stuff breaks; oh well, whatever) I was planning on
OT: 2005 Ford Bronco turbocharged & loaded with nitrous?09 May 2004 23:30 GMT1
A friend of mine told me he saw a thing on TechTV that said the 2005 Ford
Bronco is turbo'd & has nitrous. True or false?

Anyone  wanna see the new ride?09 May 2004 21:56 GMT35
Check out the Webshots site for pics. Decided to pass on the '93 Coupe.  Too
impractical for my current life :-)
So BMW it is.  It's hard to believe that  this car has as many miles onit as it
does.  Talk about build quality.  This thing is as tight as the day it was
The Safety of Defective Ford Door Latches09 May 2004 14:48 GMT2
It looks like Ford may have made a serious error in regards to the safety of
the door latches in a number of the vehicles they produce. It also appears
that Ford may have known of this and not done anything about the defect.
This has just recently come to public attention and the ...

Another would be ricer saved from a terrible fate!09 May 2004 06:02 GMT1
Sold my old '87 LX hatch tonight. Friend of my neighbour wanted a car for him and his 15
year old son to tear apart and rebuild together. I'm dropping it off next Tuesday. His
father is an old time gearhead and obviously doesn't want his son driving no "Bling Bling"
Of course they ...
"Private" Offer from Ford08 May 2004 22:02 GMT4
I got a letter from Ford offering me $828 (the sum of two monthly payments) in
cash back in addition to whatever published offers are available if I bought a
new Ford in the near future and financed it through Ford Motor Credit.
It's got me thinking about a new car, but not too ...

Anyone running this size tire on a stock size wheel (i.e. 16" X 7" pony
wheels)? on an 87-93 with quad shocks still intact?  I know 245/45's will
work but want some more width.
