| Gas price: Dec 14, 1981, Toronto Canada | 06 May 2004 06:38 GMT | 4 |
A price war drove it briefly down to $0.21/litre or $0.76 U.S. gallon. Price per U.S. gal in U.S. dollars at the time would have been: $0.61. -Rich

| Is Feeding Your Mustang Getting Expensive? | 06 May 2004 03:29 GMT | 26 |
Yes, gas prices are up, but are they're not as high as you think. The first column is the price of gas at the time. The second column is that price adjusted to 2004 dollars. (Note: The astrick indicates leaded fuel.)

After all the brew ha ha, we decided to make the run to Nashville on Sunday. Not a damn thing of interest on the program left, but we thought we should check it out anyway. This meant that I would have to finally have to get around to cleaning Shug

| 95 5 speed question: Is there tranny fluid, and how do you change it | 05 May 2004 20:04 GMT | 5 |
On SN95 stangs, mine being a 95 Cobra, I know once someone suggested to me that sticking-gears can be alleviated a bit by draining out the ford-installed fluid and replacing it with some other fluid, whos name now escapes me. Iwant to say Redline but I know thats the radiator stuff ...

| OT: Put over 800 miles on a rental Explorer this Weekend | 04 May 2004 19:28 GMT | 7 |
Back in January we planned a trip to Sunriver/Bend, Oregon with some friends. We decided at the last minute that it would be best to rent a car for the trip. The Ranger and the Civic just weren't going to work for 4 adults and a few days worth of luggage (including my skis).

| Convertible Fluid Question | 04 May 2004 17:34 GMT | 3 |
It was time to replace the convertible hydraulic lines in my 86 vert. They were so brittle that they just snapped like dried twigs. Well, I got replacements at 5.0Resto and had such a richly rewarding day installing them (my forearms still ache)

| Deceptive gas station tactics | 04 May 2004 17:19 GMT | 39 |
I've noticed something lately that can't just be my imagination. Perhaps you have too? I'm talking about the 'arrangement' on the front of fuel pumps. Lately, I've seen some that are overtly deceptive with respect to the 'press here' button

| Ping: Jim Warman re: A/C integrity | 04 May 2004 17:19 GMT | 15 |
I have a question for a qualified expert, such as yourself. I was told recently by another tech that all A/C systems are 'closed', and as such, should never lose a drop of refrigerant, ever. In the past, I've always been under the impression that a tiny bit of

My GT has a rough idle and seems to have a 'miss' in it. It is bone stock and has same issues on 87 or 93 octane. Anybody have any ideas?
