Anyone out there ever put a 5.0 into a 65-66 Mustang?  I'm doing it (1990
Merc Grand Marquis into 1966).  I'm wondering what motor mounts to use.
Thanks in advance.

In the Ballpark?02 May 2004 04:28 GMT9
I am ready to make my first major mods to an 00 GT.  I am looking to have
installed Flowmaster mufflers,  BBK x-pipe cat-baks, and some subframe
connectors.  The total price I was quoted from the local speed shop for
installation was $1250.  Is this reasonable or should I being ...

I have an 89 GT.  I have removed the cats and installed an H pipe.  Behind
that are two Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers.  Is it possible to lose
horsepower?  Did I do the right thing?  It sounds pretty loud.  Thanks
Forged pistons01 May 2004 17:14 GMT20
How hard would it be to get forged pistons in my 98 GT? What are some things
that I'd also need to change in doing this? Thanks.

Hi all, big lurker and occasional poster here, love the tech stuff.
Currently have a 91 XR7 with 5.0L HO

Did all we really used to drive these cars?01 May 2004 06:00 GMT8
I live on the east side of the SF Bay, 15 miles from my workplace in
downtown SF.   Today I had an 11:30 meeting in Burlingame (20 miles
south of SF).  I usually take the bus in and the subway home.  But
this meeting means I drive.  So I decide to take the '65 289 Mustang
Ping: Exhaust system help01 May 2004 05:29 GMT3
I live in Colorado and we have emissions testing here; my 2002 Mustang's
warrenty is about to expire, and I want to uncork the restrictive exhaust
system and release a few ponies and get a nice, gutteral growl.  What
systems are good about being unrestrictive YET allow the car to ...

I have my engine out of my 1988 Mustang GT right now getting it rebuilt.
Should I get some headers right now to install in it as it will be easier then
when it goes back in the car?  What else do you guys recommend doing now until
later when the engine is back in the car?

I guess these things happen.  Should I get under there and pry it away a
