| Drove a Mach 1 today | 26 Jun 2004 22:24 GMT | 22 |
...and it was great. Used, with 15K on it. As far as daily driveability, it wins over a Cobra...but I just can't help but think if I bought a Mach I would always be wandering what if...? I think the Cobra is a better buy, dollar for dollar, but the Mach was/is

| Off topic; Theoretical Hemi question | 26 Jun 2004 20:46 GMT | 1 |
If I sliced a 426 Hemi in half (no, made a block with 4 cylinders) that comprised the same design and 212 cu in, would I expect the same or more horsepower than half of the 426 engine's power? Or would it work at all?

| same OL' question, a couple months later... | 26 Jun 2004 17:01 GMT | 2 |
What UP group (again!)... I'm still in between "selling the car" or "keeping it, restoring" figured I would *try* once again to see If I can find a local shop to help on the later... I'd rather spend a somewhat obscene account of $$$ restoring this car rather than an obese obscene ...

| RE: Strange freon coming out from under hood | 26 Jun 2004 17:01 GMT | 1 |
OK here is an update on the '99 convertible. I checked the a/c system and instead of having 250-300 max pressure it had 445 pounds of pressure. Any ideas about what could be clogged?? I did unplug the system so it would not come on, so hopefully the compressor will not be ruined ...

I have an 87 5.0 that just came out of winter storage , you could hear a high pitched noise coming from the gas tank. I was told this was a fuel pump going bad so I just replaced it with a BBK one, but the noise is still there. Any suggestions?

| SN95: v8 airbox on v6? | 26 Jun 2004 12:42 GMT | 4 |
I'm wondering if putting a stock V8 airbox out of a 98 GT on my 1995 V6 will do anything positive. I'm hoping for a little bit more air, especially in this hot Fla climate so she breathes better. I got the box, snorkel and tube as a freebie and am pretty sure the box

Just so that you don't drive down the street thinking you can out gun a Ford F350 crew cab belching diesel smoke, see this link of said truck doing the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds at 118 mph. Can your car do that? I didn't think so!
