90's Aod wire color id22 Jun 2004 23:05 GMT4
I am putting an AOD in a 68 coupe from a 90's Stang.  The four wires coming
out of the tranny are a different color than the ones from the firewall.  I
have the literature for the 68 but not the 90.  Can anyone tell me what is
what on the tranny?
Of o2 sensors, bad wire, and a leak-down test...22 Jun 2004 21:55 GMT21
I have a '96 Mustang GT convertible, with the 4.6 V8 sohc.
The 'Check Engine' light came on for the first time last Friday while
my wife and I were on vacation. Nothing was amiss, just the light.
Gas cap was tight, everything under the hood 'looked' alright.

Strange freon coming out under hood21 Jun 2004 20:48 GMT1
Ok group this is a strange one for sure.  This is a 1999 Mustang Convertible

sound.  I just got home from going for a ride with her and while we were
driving w/ the a/c on all of a sudden it was like ...
Oil question21 Jun 2004 20:39 GMT26
I was wondering if anyone would know if using 5W30 instead of 5W20 in an 02
mustang would cause any adverse problems. I am going to go synthetic and all
the one store had was 5W30 and the owners manual says to use 5W20.
Thanks, Ed.
Anyone with a 99+ 4.6 auto Stang?21 Jun 2004 20:29 GMT5
I'm looking at a 99 GT  35th anniversary Mustang. I don't know jack about
the 4.6 engine. To make things "worse" its an automatic.  I have a few
questions for anyone that owns one.
I know it won't be a rocket ship, but how are they performance wise?

develops at the driver side window.  The noise gets
progressively louder the faster one goes.  At 100 mph,
