Sagging door (again)30 Aug 2004 08:44 GMT3
I bought the hinge repair kit, pin and two bushings.  I cut the old pin and got
it out but I don't see how to replace the bushings since they fit between the
hinge pieces.  Does the door actually have to be removed or is there something
else I am not seeing?  It's the lower hinge, ...

Story about EGR cleaning29 Aug 2004 21:52 GMT3
When I ran my OBD codes for the first time, I got a 33 and 34 (relating to
EGR function).  My first action was to pull off the EGR valve and see what
it looked like inside.  It was almost completely (~ 95%) full of carbon
coking, and the pintle would not move.  I soaked it in carb ...

Hey, V'ger, what about those tires?29 Aug 2004 06:05 GMT4
In your sig, I noticed you use KDWS tires.  I'm getting ready to buy
tires for my Cobra, and I can't find anything other than sales pitches.
My car weighs around 2200#, and should make somewhere around 525hp.
Will those tires handle that kind of power?
anybody know what sn95 part these are28 Aug 2004 15:01 GMT1
guy in a forum posted this question:
"I asked this question on most of the Mustang websites when I had my '03 GT
and nobody knew what they were. I've asked the local Ford parts guys and
they have no clue. I've looked thru the Service Manual and can't find a
Light Blue Mach 128 Aug 2004 03:41 GMT4
I saw a late model ('01 or'02 maybe?)Mach 1  at a Mustang show this
summer that was a light blue color, much like what I have heard refered
to as Grabber Blue.  Is this a current Mach 1 color?  Didn't see it
listed on the current years options.  If it is a current color then what ...
Stereo in glove box28 Aug 2004 02:53 GMT5
Hi, not long ago I saw a 67 Mustang with a CD receiver in the glove box. It
had a remote so it was a slick way to improve the tunes without carving the
dash. I want to do the same with mine, leaving the working AM radio fully
intact.
Emissions Testing27 Aug 2004 19:20 GMT8
I just got my emissions tested today on my 2002 GT and I was surprised
how easy it was.  I was expecting them to have to hook up the sensors to
the exhaust but they just hooked up to the computer (without me even
seeing them do it) and they were all done within 30 seconds.  So I ...
need AC knob / 9327 Aug 2004 17:09 GMT9
I need an oem AC knob for a 93.  I'm not sure what years had the same style
knob as 93; I'm thinking 91-93?  Is that right?
Anyway, if anyone has one, let me know how much you want for it.
Thanks,
high output alternator27 Aug 2004 16:11 GMT14
anyone know of any vendors who make a high output alternator for an 03 Ford
Cobra
that can produce +160 amps (7-800rpm) at idle and say 250 to 300 amps @ 2500
(or so) rpm?
Has anyone bought 50resto's leather or vinyl upholstery27 Aug 2004 15:31 GMT9
Particularly, for 87-93?
I like the look of the "custom" upholstery kit that they list for $569
(vinyl) or $899 (leather).  But I hate to buy it sight-unseen, unless
I can at least get feedback from others who have bought it.
5.0 Thunderbird hesitation27 Aug 2004 03:48 GMT10
I'm having some minor problems with my 5.0l in my 88'bird.
In park, when I rev the engine, I get  some hesitation/skipping/popping at
certain rpm. It starts off around 1200, disappears about 1800-2000, then
comes back harder from 2300-2600 rpm. But ONLY during those times. Will go
