96 Mustang-Electrical Issue or Fuse?10 Sep 2004 13:45 GMT5
I have a 96 Mustang and my left turn signal went out a few days ago.
I haven't had the chance to replace because of Hurricane Francis and
that is what made me notice other differences.
When my lights and the radio are on and I use my turn signal, I notice

Will an 03 Cobra be able to tow:
1.  motorcycle on a small trailer.
2.  Couple of jet skis.
3. pop up tent camper.
Books worth owning10 Sep 2004 12:09 GMT4
In a recent, somewhat flaming hot discussion (no, I won't go there), books
that can teach us about our chiosen hobby was mentioned.  If anyone can
recommend some *good* books on the following subjects, please reply:
late 60's Mustang restoration (mainly interested in 1968 and 1969)
Leather Dye Flaking off 97 Cobra Seats (solved)10 Sep 2004 10:17 GMT1
Many thnx to all who made suggestions, and special thnx to SVTKate.
Kate suggested 'meltonian' black shoe cream (polish) to cover the few
areas where the leather dye had come off the black leather seats in my
newly-acquired 97 cobra.
Stupid Car Tricks10 Sep 2004 08:41 GMT182
I test-drove a 2005 Mustang yesterday. Cool car, but one of the most
highly-touted features of this car is the "MyColor" lighting for the
dashboard.

an '03 'Vette beat me!10 Sep 2004 04:15 GMT46
So this morning me and a 2003 Corvette come up to the stoplight on a
three-lane onramp to a local highway. Both myself and the other driver
knew that our cars represented the finest in vintage and current
automotive technology, and the significance of both classic cars ready
They Come in Threes10 Sep 2004 04:04 GMT16
OK, so first we had Mr. Spring Thing in Canadia, then the Bitch from
the Black Lagoon with her AODE. Who's going to be the next person to
give us one side of an ill conceived and poorly executed wrenchfest?
Performance Shocks10 Sep 2004 00:51 GMT4
I have an '89 Mustang GT with lots of suspension work, 17x9 wheels, and Koni
Red shocks and struts.  A friend of mine has a similar setup but with firmer
springs and Tokico Illumina shocks and struts.  His car has a less harsh
ride.  Firmer springs ... softer ride ... doesn't seem ...
Accel coil10 Sep 2004 00:48 GMT13
Another freaking Accel Super Stock or Super Street what the hell ever
coil burst itself, oil puked out on wire.  Second one I've had to fail
this way, this time thankfully at a gas station 5 min away.  Thought
first one was an anomaly, of course.  Odds are somewhat against that ...
Changing Spark Plugs on 2001 Mustang 3.8L V610 Sep 2004 00:46 GMT4
It's probably about time to change the spark plugs on my 2001 Mustang
with the 3.8L V6.
I can see the spark plugs on the drivers side and they look to be fairly
accessible.  But I can't even see where the plugs are on the passenger
66 Mustang paint questions10 Sep 2004 00:43 GMT6
Two questions, both have likely been answed before as I pop out of my
lurking mode
1) How hard is it to DIY a paint job? I know there is stripping, sanding and
Bondo stuff to take up many hours of my time. Is it better to just get it
Orig. 67 AM Radio wiring?10 Sep 2004 00:30 GMT6
I want to put the original AM radio back in my car.  I see no need for
an expensive stereo, so why fight the loud exhaust and tempt thieves
with big amps, subs, changers etc. etc. blah blah blah.  De gustibus non
est devendenum...
Best way to sell my Bullitt?09 Sep 2004 23:02 GMT2
Unfortunately, I have to look at selling my Bullitt (long story as to
why).  I'm located in Minnesota, and with the upcoming winter, I'm
sure I'm in for a long wait to actually sell it.  I'm looking for your
opinions on how I can maximize what I get for it (and how much that
Torino Bracket Car Buildup09 Sep 2004 19:27 GMT2
If anyone is interested in following this 351-to-460 project car
over the next few months, I just posted the Game Plan (intro) for this
over in AHPBBFM. If you have a short NSP retention, all future posts
will have [Torino] in the header so you can Google it up. Thanks.
