The odometer on my 98 Mustang (Cobra) quit. The trip odometer broke as well. The speedo still works though. What is likely broken? Can the existing unit be fixed or will it have to be replaced? How do they account for the mileage if they replace

Before you flame me, no, I'm not putting a big Super Touring wing on it and a big body kit by Rice Inc. :) It's a simple idea to make the car look a little sleeker by taking some of the seams out of the body details, like around the side scoops and hood
