67 Mustang- 6 Cylinder to V8 Swap16 Sep 2004 06:53 GMT6
We have a long time customer at our shop who wants to to swap his inline 6
with a V8. While not an extremely difficult task, there isn't much time for
major fabrications and so on, as our regular work must still take place
throughout the day.

Stock rim and Tire size16 Sep 2004 03:27 GMT12
I was wondering if someone could answer a couple questions
1) what is the stock rim size on a 86 fox bodied wagon?
2) what is the widest tire I could fit on the stock rims?  I can get 4 brand
new 215/65/14's for $100, but I don't know if the 215's would fit on stock

86 GT 5.0, considering headers15 Sep 2004 13:07 GMT4
Hello all. As the subject implies, I own a 1986 GT and I am considering
headers. Basically, my cats are shot, and I figure if I have to replace the
H pipe anyway I might as well go the full 9 and replace the stock manifold
too. However, I am unsure as to what my best option would be ...
"Steel Run" Rotors15 Sep 2004 04:04 GMT3
Are slotted / Cross-drilled rotors really a help over standard rotors?
Anyone have any experiance with a brand called "Steel Run"? Comments on
them? I am considering buying a set of 4 cross drilled / slotted rotors
for an OT vehicle, and these would save me about 30 bux over buying
Math question...15 Sep 2004 03:50 GMT9
Just curious if some of you could help me do a little math.
If I took a stock 302 crank, rods at 5.310" long, and pistons for a 331
stroker engine, what would I end up with in cubic inches at .030 over bore?
Also, would my compression ratio be different with stock 64cc(I think?)
Doors sound loose14 Sep 2004 16:05 GMT3
It appears that both of my doors are a little loose as you can hear them moving
when going over some bumps or even when closed there is some movement when
pushing them in.
Unfort this happened when I was having problems with my Lojack system and they
mach 460 in-dash CD  player adaptation to non-Mach sound system.14 Sep 2004 13:45 GMT2
Need some advice:  I  recently purchased an used  Mach 460 CD (Single)

my 95' Mustang OEM Radio-Cassette Player.
I was made to believe it would be relatively easy, just connecting one
What the hell is with Totally-Ford.com?14 Sep 2004 05:02 GMT5
When I go to the site, I get a security message asking if I want to allow
the site to paste information from my clipboard??? It happens every time I
go to their home page, and there is no way to get out of it, short of using
Task Manager to end IE.
