| 351W | 12 Sep 2004 12:25 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking at a 351windsor engine out of a 1987 pickup it has 220,000 miles on it. I would like to put this in my 67' fastback with a complete rebuilt of course. Is there anything I should be looking at before I buy the engine? Is it worth putting Hi performance parts on?

| 5.0 upgrade | 12 Sep 2004 05:22 GMT | 18 |
ok here is my story, I test drove a 2004 SVT cobra the other day, and I was so impressed with the car in general that I wanted to buy it, but my wife (my sweetheart) will not let me. She says I can upgrade my 91 LX and that I already have a mustang. The problem is I have no idea how ...

| fuel mileage and long distance trip experience with 2003 GT vert | 12 Sep 2004 02:38 GMT | 12 |
I just did some extensive MPG testing on my `03 GT 4.6 vert auto (bone stock with about 10k miles on the odo) and just thought I'd share it. I recently went on a 4,700 mile trip and carefully measured the mpg during the entire trip. Air conditioner was never used, top was down ...

| 89 5.0 AOD upgrades | 11 Sep 2004 17:17 GMT | 2 |
I know this subject has been beaten to death but perhaps the experts here could help me understand my options. Car is 89 5.0 LX vert with AOD. Stock engine, Griggs suspension mods and 3.73 gears. I am happy with torque and power 0-80mph (enough that I can't

| TFrog, Day Seven | 11 Sep 2004 17:01 GMT | 7 |
Picked her up at the shop, and all was well. I had heat, I had air conditioning, and the instrument pod was firmly reattached. The staff was falling all over themselves with apology and humility - always a good thing to see.

| Subframe connectors | 11 Sep 2004 16:59 GMT | 24 |
Steeda alloy subframe connectors. I won't be affording the GT bullit suspension anytime soon (heck, I may just be happy with new springs, shocks, struts, whatever). There is a very noticeable difference in handling... and I can't feel

This was written by Terry Lobzun, RM Auctions / Chatham, Ontario "Classic '60's muscle cars - souped up Mustangs, Barracudas, and such are very hot now. If I were making an investment today, it would be in 'tuner' cars, the muscle cars of the future. Tuners are smaller

| Windsor distributor in Cleveland?? | 11 Sep 2004 09:25 GMT | 4 |
I got my '70 Sportsroof back from my engine builder today complete with a freshly rebuilt engine and with the ignition upgraded to MSD. In the car was the box from the Pro Billet distributor which I was about to bin, when I glanced at the application sticker - it reads 351W!!

| Rear main seal | 11 Sep 2004 03:39 GMT | 3 |
Apparently my rear main seal has given up. Anyone done there own replacement on a '93 5.0? Looks fairly straight foward but a lot of time that I don't have. What do you think....farm it out or do it myself? I am reasonably

| Mustang Headrest 1979-1993 | 11 Sep 2004 01:58 GMT | 1 |
I might be crazy to ask this, but how do you remove a single post Headrest of a early nineties Mustang without tearing up the seat? I am having a hard time doing so. Thanks in advanced.

Dropped TFrog ('93 LX 5.0) off at the local Ford dealer a week ago Monday for some major surgery. Heater core replacement, A/C switchover and recharge, fix the malfunctioning vent controls, and an electrical problem which blew out my instrument cluster whenever I engaged the ...
