I have an 87 gt with a strong 331 supercharged motor running 15 lbs. boost . I am in the process of stepping my headers up from 1 5/8 x 2 1/2" to 1 3/4 x 3". Should I run the exhaust 3" all the way with a 3" X-pipe and 3" in and out mufflers or should I reduce to 2 1/2" for some ...

| electropolishing | 17 Oct 2004 15:29 GMT | 13 |
I was wondering. Has anyone ever electropolished the metal-to-metal, lubricated surfaces in an engine, like the main, rod, and cam bearings, lifters, etc. and what were the results? I know it's been used on intakes and exhausts with good success, but I haven't heard of it being ...

| stalling when warm | 17 Oct 2004 07:39 GMT | 9 |
Last week I was driving my 1989 Mustang 5.0 down the highway at about 75mph when it just stalled on me. I pulled over to the side and tried to start it and it wouldn't turn over. It wasn't overheating, the battery was fine and there was plenty of gas in the car. When I let it ...

Anyone try the new TMI '65-'66 carbon fiber like vinyl replacement seat covers or the new two tone standard door panels that match pony seats? It's about time they came out with some custom colors, auto custom carpets can be had in any color from grey to neon pink. Not that I'd ...

OK, as some of you know I am kind of car shopping. The 98 SS I was going to buy fell through so I am still driving my truck. After putting 275 miles on it today for work I realize more than ever that I need something that gets better than 12 miles per gallon and is more

My friend's 95 GT overheats when the A/C is used. Anybody have any idea what could cause this? He installed a 2nd (electric) fan to keep it cool... and so far it's helped.. but any reason why it would overheat in the past? Thanks.

| Cooler Temps > You Checked Your Tire Pressures, Right? | 16 Oct 2004 15:07 GMT | 20 |
Everyone knows maintaining correct tire pressure is vital for optimum fuel economy, tire longevity and vehicle performance. But did everyone know with the fluctuating/lower temperatures of autumn (and in the springtime with rising temps) that your tire pressures tend to

| Class up Interior | 16 Oct 2004 12:32 GMT | 8 |
First off, I'm a huge fan of my new '04 Mach 1. My one complaint is the interior on the Mustang leaves alot to be desired when compared to other cars I considered (350Z, RX-8, GTO, ect). I've installed the chrome knobs and buttons and they help, but not
