| Valve Covers Available | 20 Nov 2004 20:54 GMT | 3 |
I hop this is not in-appropriate post, but my father passed away about a year ago, and I was amazed to discover he'd held on to a set of Ford aluminum valve covers for a small block V8. I purchased them in 1977 from the local Ford dealer and still have the original receipt. I do not ...

| My Buddy just picked up his 05 | 19 Nov 2004 14:29 GMT | 10 |
Its silver GT, manual trans....very sharp car. Its interesting on the door windows, as soon as you open a door(either side) the window will open a crack(1/4"), so the door will close easier without the trapped air pressure inside. Once the door is shut the window fully closes ...

| With the new model, will people FINALLY stop referring to a V6 as an "LX" model ? | 18 Nov 2004 16:56 GMT | 6 |
I wonder if 10 years and a major model update is enough for some folks to realize that there IS NO LX MODEL! and furthermore, even when there WAS an LX model, there were 5.0 LX's too, so referring to a 6 as an LX NEVER DID make any sense !!!

| new V6 vs. 5.0 | 18 Nov 2004 14:26 GMT | 3 |
I've heard people saying "the new V6 has more power than the old 5 liters." Comparing the specs, the new 6 does indeed have 210hp vs. the 5.0's 205hp; however, the new 6 has only 240 lb-ft torque while the 5.0 had 300 lb-ft. Clearly, the 5.0 would have the power advantage in a ...
