302 V8 upgrade on six w/ auto tranny 1969 Mustang17 Nov 2004 20:55 GMT4
I just bought a 69 coupe with the 250 inline six w/ auto tranny. I have a
302 lined up and ready to be transplanted, this should be a straight deal
right? Or are there going to be major implications. I also plan to put in a
manual trans a little later, any recommendations? Also ...

Man those things are ugly looking... Anyone agree?
Air leak? Vaccum leak? Or what?17 Nov 2004 06:26 GMT1
I just bought a descent 87 lx mustang. It will run only when you stick your
hand over the air intake. It seems to suck alot more air up than it should.
When you take you hand off it dies. I took off the fuel intake manifold and
cleaned it up, and got a new fuel filter. The EGR valve ...

94 Mustang (starter)17 Nov 2004 02:09 GMT1
Can anyone give a little bit of a clue on where the starter would be at for
a 94' Mustang V6 3.8?  I am newbie in the mechanics division, so I am in
the learning process.
'68 Mustang bad brakes...16 Nov 2004 18:45 GMT9
All new hardware, including master cylinder and the fronts were
upgraded to disc.  The only thing that hasn't been replaced is that
directional valve 'thingy' which, I'm guessing, acts as a failsafe.
Have bled the brakes numerous times, however, the pedal keeps
Pinging16 Nov 2004 14:48 GMT19
Car is pinging every new and then at full throttle... maybe 1/5 times. It's
very unnerving. Also, I'm losing about a 1/4 of a quart of oil every 3k
miles. I'm going to clean the air filter today, clean sensors, I already
replaced EGR valve. What else would you recommend I do? Thanks ...
What Did We Do Wrong?16 Nov 2004 03:42 GMT1
It's been quite some time since I last posted, and I thank all of you
who gave my son and I guidance on repairing his 2.3L 89 Mustang with
the hole in the intake manifold that caused it to act like the head
gasket was blown.

2005 Butt-Ugly Mustang16 Nov 2004 03:21 GMT12
A most astute reply GEB. The end of year sales figures will be most telling.
As for Trolling, the only trolling I do is in the local lake for trout and I am not very good at it. Expressing an opinion is not trolling gentleman. I own two older Mustangs that are my pride and joy.
One ...
The Good, The Bad And The Ugly From Shelby16 Nov 2004 01:46 GMT14
First the bad news.  It looks like Shelby's first new high-performance
Ford will be a sport... I'm sorry, performance utility vehicle (PUV).
The 550-horsepower vehicle will be based on a Ford Expedition, but
will have the motor from the Ford GT supercar, 22-inch wheels,
