rear disks in '87 question.21 Dec 2004 04:01 GMT3
A buddy at work gave me his rear disk brake setup from his 5.0 because he
went to baer 5 lug wheels on his fox mustang. They're a setup from an '88
turbo t-bird. I think I have everything I need but I'm not sure how the
calipers are oriented. Top front or top back of the axle? ...
DEERE MR FORD21 Dec 2004 03:56 GMT8
D.T. you are correct. This is one ugly Mustang, and as an older owner of a Mustang and I love these cars, I would not trade straight acrross for the ugly 2005 Mustang.
Pee On SVT21 Dec 2004 02:55 GMT16
A friend of mine shot me an e-mail today with these thoughts:
Pee on SVT.  Who needs 'em, when you can buy a 300-horsepower GT for
$24K.
And I add, a GT that run mid 12's at 112 mph with some traction, a
Plastic Vert rear windows ??20 Dec 2004 20:48 GMT7
I know glass is better (and also much more expensive), but how well do

Water collection behind rear seat20 Dec 2004 15:43 GMT11
I have a 98 GT Mustang and I have noticed that occasionally I get water
collection in the "diaper" behind the rear seat.  I water does not
always collect there, it seems to only appear after slow drizzle type
rain when parked and not in down pours or when the vehicle is in

Another magazine comparison - '05 Mustang GT vs Suburu WRX20 Dec 2004 05:59 GMT5
January 2005 issue of Automobile Magazine has a comparison of "who builds
the most entertaining $25,000 car."  The 5-page article was purposefully
written from Washington D.C. to give it a political-type slant, kind of
weird.  Instead of having a bunch of editors vote on the ...
Haha, check this out.19 Dec 2004 22:30 GMT4
I'm doing a rear disk brake mod in my '87 using the discontinued M-2300-C.
I'm planning on selling it and since I had the kit a friend at work gave me
free I decided to install it when I did my front brake job. Kind of a pain
in the butt compared to older mustangs. Mix and match ...

Bought a New Mustang19 Dec 2004 17:10 GMT27
I have just purchased the new Mustang GT. With a V8, Manual,Leather,
Nice Stereo, etc. Nice and fast. This car seriously moves. I love the
styling on this car, because I am a big fan of the orginal Mustangs of
the 60's. Although I will be paying for this thing for a while, I'm
'70 mustang question.19 Dec 2004 04:33 GMT1
Hi Folks, I just bought a nice clean '70 sportsroof with no engine or
transmission. I've got a built up 351W I could install in it but I was
tossing around the idea of installing a 460 block. Will this fit and do you
know of any companies that make headers for it? How about a ...
70 mach 119 Dec 2004 04:19 GMT4
What would a 70 mach 1 be worth w/ 95 % of all parts there. No matching
serial #s to the transmision or engine all though the same engine and
transmision as original.
Car has 351 2b w/ four speed manual half of sheet metal work has been done.

I'll be replacing the top on my 89 shortly. I'm pondering doing it
myself.....
Anyone tackle this feat themselves ??
Or is it worth forking over $400 and have a professional do it ??
