Did A/C in 1973 Mustangs work well?28 Jan 2005 19:28 GMT6
Some people have told me that the A/C in the first-generation Mustangs were
cold but could't be compared to the more modern cars. Others have told me
that the A/C was freezing cold. Since I live on a tropical island, the A/C
is very important.

Pre-ignition engine oiler28 Jan 2005 07:17 GMT3
Anyone ever use one?  They seem like great ideas and are quite reasonably
priced - in the sense that an engine overhaul is a lot more!
I'm seriously tempted to get one as I can't see a downside.
Any thoughts?
MPG For 93 Cobras28 Jan 2005 03:17 GMT6
Mike R and any other 93 Cobra owners.  Just curious as to the sort of
mileage your cars get.  85% of my driving is highway and I'm only
knocking down 19-20 mpg.  I average about 75 mph on the highway always
have it in 5th gear, and I just putt around town.   I do have 3.55s in
Using a '98 California Mustang GT on the east coast28 Jan 2005 02:18 GMT3
Hello all.  I'm about to move from Cali to the east coast and I've heard
stories that later model cars brought from California to the north east
coast develop engine problems or don't run very well.
Has anyone else heard this?  Is it an emission's thing?  Or is it the cold,

Engine tapping noise 95 Ford Mustang27 Jan 2005 19:31 GMT8
95 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6 recently purchased.  I have a problem identifying a
metal tapping noise heard only under certain circumstances.  No noise when
the car is in idle or driving normally.  But if the car is in park and rev
up the engine, I hear the rather loud metal tapping noise. ...
