My 1st REAL car at 46!22 Jan 2005 15:24 GMT22
I'm 46 years old and I recently bought my first real car.  Sure, I've
been driving since I was 16, and have owned a number of vehicles since
then.  Paid $100 for my first car, a '65 Chevy.  Owned 2 or 3 other cars
after that.  Had a Catalina with a big engine.  That boat would ...
How-To Question > Removing Door Speakers22 Jan 2005 15:07 GMT10
How do you remove the door speakers on a Fox Mustang ('93).  I removed
the obvious screw down in the bottom corner, but what's the next step.
Do the speaker covers pop off?  Or do you have to remove the whole door
panel?  If the whole door panel needs to come off, is it simply a
I bent my Wookie :(22 Jan 2005 06:55 GMT9
Hi Folks, My '87 GT broke after I stopped to check the mail. I try to start
it, it cranks but doesn't start. Then I notice I can't hear the fuel pump
energize when I turn the key on. I checked the inertia switch to see if it
had somehow popped but it seemed ok. I'm going back for ...

I'm looking for ideas for the Virginia plates for my new GT. Many of
the good ones are gone, especially anything with the word PONY in it,
although I was able to reserve PONY V8. The limit is seven
letters/numbers. Any ideas from you imaginative folks?

Subframe connectors or window adjustments?20 Jan 2005 14:42 GMT9
In searching for subframe connectors (google) I see a wide variety..
I have a '96 coupe with no go fast options.
Will subframe connectors make a difference in body flex?
Is the something you have done at body shop (as I'd assume you'd want
Motor mount advice.20 Jan 2005 07:25 GMT3
As the 'stang closes on a quarter of a million miles it starting to act as
if it might be time to replace the motor mounts.  Being a convertible, I'm
unsure as to the appropriateness of using aftermarket mounts.  I know the
factory used special mounts for vert's but I'm unsure of ...
Valve Guides--Stupid Question20 Jan 2005 00:15 GMT7
My '90 LX 5.0 is burning oil and has been for some time.  It has just
101,000 miles on it. Based on an article in a Mustang magazine I think it
may be the valve guides.  Is it possible to replace the valve guides without
pulling the heads?
gas smell coming from heater vents19 Jan 2005 22:19 GMT4
I started noticing a gas smell when I turn on the heat in my car about a

find a leak, but didn't see anything (admittedly, I didn't look very long,
it's only about 10 degrees outside and I don't have a ...
