Sulphur smell in 05 Mustang GT06 Feb 2005 22:16 GMT17
I've got about 500 miles on my GT since Saturday--can't help it--and have
begun to notice a rotton egg smell now and then in the cabin.  I'm using
regular gas.  Our 2003 Honda Accord V6 is REALLY bad this way too, and the
dealer says that's "normal".  It mostly goes away in the ...
OH, PLEASE, PLEASE Tell Me It Isn't True!!06 Feb 2005 17:26 GMT12
I'm officially in mourning, and will be for several days, maybe weeks.
The motor that could have been one of Ford's all-time greatest now
sounds like it'll never make it past the drawing board.
Read on... but first make sure you have plenty of hankies ready.
Mileage shows 14mpg on my 1983 small V-6  after trans replacement06 Feb 2005 04:57 GMT4
The mechanic did what I suspected he would when I asked him to repair
my transmission: he replaced it, and it is so slow now; it has to be
revved to go through 2nd and 3rd.  Every mechanic I've talked to says a
transmission can't change how fast you go through the lower gears.  I
headlight adjustment on 98 v606 Feb 2005 04:21 GMT1
Anyone know how to adjust the headlights (up and down) on a 98 v6 mustang?
Thanks in advance
Finally saw an '05 up close...06 Feb 2005 01:44 GMT3
A Screaming Yellow V6, owned by the mom of a friend of mine. I'd seen
two or three on the roads around here, but never up close. Plus, I even
got a ride in it.
Pictures don't do it enough justice; my initial reaction has been
pulley change05 Feb 2005 22:29 GMT8
I am trying to decide if I want to change the pulley on my 04 cobra. I
need to know if it's worth it: is there going to be belt slippage, how
long can I expect the charger to last due to increased demand on the
bearings due to the increased heat.
New Vette C6;  500hp 427cu in?05 Feb 2005 17:57 GMT90
Is this for real?  Is that going to be the
stock Vette package??

mustangparts.com (Performance Parts Inc) gone?05 Feb 2005 15:48 GMT5
I tried going to mustangparts.com today and it looks like it's gone (it's
now a Network Solutions page, so I'm assuming someone else owns it now)  Did
this site get relocated to a new URL or is it gone for good?
Wife wants a pillow - help!05 Feb 2005 15:44 GMT39
The wife wants a pillow in the Mustang. I don't mind that, as long as
the pillow supports the 'decor' so to speak.
Anyone know where a pillow with the Mustang emblem can be purchased?
Thanks.
What shocks for '89 GT convertible?05 Feb 2005 14:12 GMT5
New to this place (in fact just found it, once I figured out the
search option in my reader). We have an '89 5.0 GT convertible with
about 78k miles. Handling is getting a little loose and I'm thinking
it's probably time to replace the shocks. The car was set up with the
Tires: Nitto vs Kuhmo05 Feb 2005 03:38 GMT5
I'm in need of new tires for my 'stang that's 95% street drive and 5%
autocrossed.  Not dragged at all.  I've worn out a set of Kuhmo Ecsta Supra
712s and I'm looking at either another set of the 712s, the Kuhmo Ecsta MX
or the Nitto 555 to replace them.

Gunky Master Cylinder04 Feb 2005 04:52 GMT1
Took a look inside my (drained) master cylinder today in my '66 coupe
that I'm restoring.  In the bottom was a sort of black, syrup gunk
that I think is ancient brake fluid remnants.   Is this something to
really worry about, provided I wipe it out thoroughly with a lintless
73 Stang to 69 Shelby?04 Feb 2005 01:34 GMT6
I seem to recall seeing a 71 - 73 Mustang on eBay that someone had dressed
up like a 69 Shelby (taillight panel, maybe front fenders, etc.). It made
what I consider an ugly car look pretty good. So I've now got an opportunity
to buy a '73 convertible, 302, 3-speed standard for next ...
