| Refurbishing CA license plates?/68 steering wheel on a 67? | 16 Feb 2005 06:03 GMT | 8 |
I have a '67 with the original gold-on-black California license plates. Of course, they show their age. Does anybody have any info on technique (and legality) of refurbishing license plates? Also, I need to replace the old, cracked, grungy steering wheel. I

| Shift Kits - What are they all about? | 16 Feb 2005 03:06 GMT | 15 |
I found lots of sources for shift kits, but nothing about what they do and why you might want one. Since I'm looking for easy, cheap, reversible performance mods, can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

| Mustang Repair Help Southern California - references? | 15 Feb 2005 17:39 GMT | 6 |
I'm about to buy my first Mustang - a `67 coupe 289 V8. Before I get it on the road, though, I want it gone through by someone who knows these cars. It has a power steering fluid leak that needs attending to, plus it needs a new light switch / turn signal stalk. Also a general

| Lime Gold | 15 Feb 2005 16:58 GMT | 21 |
Ah, the classic color we all love to hate. Actually not too bad when the paint is fresh. Here's a '68 with a transplanted Windsor. I like the unique approach to detail in this car; the body color intake, polished A/C compressor, clean intercooler install.

| Soundproofing new Mustang? | 15 Feb 2005 14:20 GMT | 6 |
My neighbor, also the owner of an '05 Mustang (V6) has mentioned a product which is sprayed into the door panels and other areas to help reduce road noise and give the door less of a 'tinny' sound when closing. Has anyone heard of such a thing, or any other way of adding some ...

| 1999 Mustang GT Paint Problems? | 15 Feb 2005 05:29 GMT | 4 |
I just purchased a 1999 Mustang GT. The thing is in damn-near perfect condition. However, when I stand back from it, it looks as if the door is a different color than the back quarter panel. That is the only place I notice a color difference.
