65 Mustang Power Steering with Air24 Mar 2005 14:50 GMT5
Hoping someone can help me with this, just converted my 65 convertible
from Manual to Power steering.  The car has factory air, I can't
figure out how the pump mounts, the pulley won't line up with either
of the crank pulleys.  Here is how its mounted:
Mustang versus Vette24 Mar 2005 00:02 GMT41
Say I take a Vette, that costs $45,000 when new.
Then I take a Mustang GT, that costs $27,000.
Then I put $18,000 into the Mustang.
Which is now the better car?

Thanks!
Oh, HAPPY DAY (sort of)23 Mar 2005 15:39 GMT23
Stopped for a photo shoot this morning. The local Ford dealer has TWO 2005
convertibles on the lot - both black, but one with a black top, one with a
tan top.
Both are sixes, but DAMN they look good.

power steering repair steps23 Mar 2005 06:10 GMT1
I have a 1966 Mustang, 289ci, PS.  Over the years I have kept this in bone
stock condition, fixing things here and there.
The PS always has been a pain.  I have replaced 3 pumps in the last 15
years.  One went out, one leaked so bad I could not use it and the last one

Replacing motor in 1968 coupe?23 Mar 2005 04:08 GMT7
Well, since I want to be able to restore the '68 back to stock pretty
easily, what are my engine options?  I've heard that the 351C/351W is a
drop-in for this car.  I've also heard that a bigger (390, 429 and 460)
motor requires modification like moving the shock towers up front.
87 mustang GT front brake upgrade question22 Mar 2005 19:31 GMT5
When replacing the front brakes with 73 mm calipers (91 Lincoln Mark VII),
do you need to get different
(bigger, the ones used for a 91 Lincoln Mark VII) size rotors or will the
same ones do that are on the car. I realize that you should get slotted
Window Bonding Followup22 Mar 2005 17:50 GMT3
Pursuant to an inquiry last week about a good way to reattach a '69
side window to its channel, I emailed 3M. Finally got answer:

I do not know how you call the pin-looking thingie the hatch latch
grabs to lock the hatch, but I think I may need a new one:

Is that a dealer-only item or I can get it anywhere?
