Mustang has lowest defect rate per 100 cars of all American Cars11 Mar 2005 15:21 GMT4
Only 5 complaints out of 100 vehicles.  A Nissan Quest is the worse
with 49 per 100.  The big surprise is the overall best is the Hyundai
Sonata with only 2 per 100.
Follow Up on Stripe11 Mar 2005 14:03 GMT15
I went to my local Ford Dealer yesterday to see if there are any products
available to bring the stripe back to life.
The parts manager told me the stripe on the hood is a genuine Ford part but
it can't be restored due to the mettalic nature of the stripe. All I could
American Hot Rod11 Mar 2005 04:14 GMT23
I saw a few minutes of American Hot Rod last night.  They were working on a
fastback.  The year, I'm guessing was a '67, right?  I didn't notice at the
time, but afterwards I seem to remember it had no shock towers and the
engine compartment was straight and roomy.  Am I ...

WTB: Mustang differential....
A cursory search of the junkyards in Austin has come up empty.
I am working on a 5-lug conversion for my '90 Mustang. I am looking for a
rear end to do the conversion on the ground, then bolt up. Paydirt would be

Hey there,
I just wondered if anyone experienced with the fuel system could answer
this.  I plan on selling it next month and want everything working
good.  My tank is leaking a bit at the fuel filler neck gasket after a
Opinions Wanted:  66 Exhaust Setup11 Mar 2005 00:36 GMT2
This topic seems to be one that is discussed off and on in this group
(given what I've found using Google), but I thought I would bring it up
yet again for fresh opinions on my situation.  I've just upgraded to a
T-5 tranny, and with things moving around slightly, the custom exhaust
2002 mustang gt11 Mar 2005 00:14 GMT3
I had a 1990 5.0   now I have picked up a 2002 gt with 17k on it.  Question for the group.  What are the low cost ways to add HP?  or what are a few ways lowest to highest cost.  I love the new car.  I am not great with my hands so I have to have the work done.
much thanks

What's the deal about the AOD transmission?10 Mar 2005 03:26 GMT9
In my slow but ongoing quest to put my 90LX alive, last weekend I
bought an AOD tranny. I mentioned some people about my acquisition and
everyone told me the AOD is the worst thing that ever came out of Ford.
Why is it so maligned?

Hi,           I'm looking to upgrade my 87 GT Convertible front brakes. I

used parts or do you have to get new parts and what parts are exactly needed
to do this. I realize that you would probably need new ...

Lemon Law???09 Mar 2005 14:19 GMT30
Anyone have any experience with the Lemon Law??  I threatened about it
today when I brought my car in and they looked scared and started
treating me really nice.  Does it apply to used cars?  I would be glad
to be rid of this car if I can get my money back for it?  Do I have any
'85 Mustang LX: replacing brake lamps09 Mar 2005 03:39 GMT4
One's out.
There doesn't appear to be any access from the exterior.  It looks like the
only way in is by removing a large interior panel from the inside.  But that
just looks like too much work, and there's probably a better way.
