My '65 mustang has a 4 speed manual tranny. The engine is a 289. Neither are original to the car, in fact, I believe my father said he took the tranny out of an old Granada (don't hold me to it). Anyway, recently it's become difficult to change gears. The clutch

I recently purchased a 1968 fastback and I was wondering if anyone knew a place that sold OEM parts instead of going through ford. I know some places out there have stocked them but I just do not know where. Parts as in exterior body parts, fenders, doors, trunklids, quarters, etc.

I just got my '66 coupe back with a brand new T-5 tranny and I don't have words to express how much better it is. It had a 3 speed manual that I hated from the first day I drove it. It is like a totally different car now. If you are even slightly pondering a switch, DO

| 99 Taurus SHO | 04 May 2005 13:07 GMT | 4 |
I have a 99 Taurus SHO with 58,000 miles and recently have noticed a ticking noise at idle. I know this is overhead cam but are they similar to other cars with hydraulic lifters? Could it be a bent pushrod or something? Hurc, any idea what this is? I'm stumped...

| Squeak at 40 KM/hr + | 03 May 2005 23:26 GMT | 2 |
04 Mustang GT - I get a squeaking noise coming from the front wheels at 40KM and up. As soon as I get to below 35-40KM/hr noise goes away. I've shut the engine off at 50 and noise is still there so pretty sure that its not the belts.

I have this problem that's been the plague of my '65 Stang for the last several months. Ever since a damn-near complete overhaul of the top-end (after a bout with piston slap) I've had this crazy repetitive clacking sound coming from the passenger-side lifters.. and particularly ...
