sent the gt500 the restoration house today. one of the items that will be needed is a complete set of weatherstripping for it. he said the last batch he bought was from mustangs plus and they were just so-so. does anyone have any experience with any of the other vendors?

First time installing a new water pump on a new long block. Got a crate 302 that needs a water pump. I have the correct pump for my application (Edelbrock reverse rotation of 5.0 serpentine). It comes with a new gasket and a new backing plate.

Is there a life cycle for injectors that needs to be considered or do they just need to be cleaned (injector flush)? I imagine that a fluid (gas) carries microscopic abrasives but can see that the wear is such that only after a million miles one would need to think about replacement ...
