Score!28 Jun 2005 23:55 GMT3
Just bought a 1984 V6 hatchback in decent shape for $250!  It was left at
a shop and the mechanic sold it for exactly  what was owed on the bill!
It apparently needs an oil pump, but past that the car is supposed to run
fine.
Water Pump Rebuild Kit for 28928 Jun 2005 23:49 GMT5
I've got a 65 2+2 with the aluminum water pump.  I've searched around,
but  have been unable to find a rebuild kit for this particular pump,
or instructions on how to take it apart and replace the seals, etc.  I
have already replaced with a rebuilt pump since it was leaking, but
CARFAX Question > "Accident Indicator Reported"28 Jun 2005 23:41 GMT12
Today my daughter and I went looking around for a used car.  We found
her a clean '03 Ford Focus with 30K miles on the odometer.  After
giving the car a good lookover and test drive, we had the dealer print
us out a CarFax report.  The report listed a "Accident Indicator

Convert 1984 from V6 to V8?28 Jun 2005 07:45 GMT4
Hey all -
This is a long way out since I am not done with my '68 yet, but if I were
to convert a 1984 hatchback from V6 to V8, what all would be involved?  I
would assume I'd need:
Dyno tune ?28 Jun 2005 03:24 GMT6
Good Morning Gang,
Was wondering how much of an increase in rwhp / rwtq would I see with a
dyno tune. Got an 02 GT with K&N drop in filter, Magnaflow catback,
Accufab plenum with 70MM throttle body. With these mods I'm at 243
Transponder/PATS Problem?28 Jun 2005 03:15 GMT7
Help! I just purchased a 98 Mustang GT yesterday. I was so excited until I
was home after a few hours and tried to start the car. It wouldn't start

bought the car from a used car lot, and only have one key. Has ...

1998 Ford Mustang Cobra Signature Series.27 Jun 2005 06:38 GMT53
I just purchased a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra Signature Series and am
looking for information on it.  The dealership told me it was one of
500.  Is there a number somewhere on the car that states this?  Also I
am looking for specs on HP and the engine/trans.
? 69 351W stroker tolerances27 Jun 2005 04:32 GMT4
I was thinking about stroking my block to 393 or 408 as a winter
project. And getting a kit with forged parts for more strength on the
bottom. Id like to use my stock block but I was looking on
coasthigh.com whos kits were recommended by people on stangnet. They
Coil spring compressor27 Jun 2005 04:04 GMT2
Hi, Has anyone safely replaced a front control arm on a 93 5.0 LX w/o
the $450.00 internal coil spring compressor?. I would like to do the job
myself and I've done a bunch of risky work on my Stang before (benching
a tranny to get it out etc.....)but now I don't want to take any ...
85 GT CFI stalls when it gets hot27 Jun 2005 02:37 GMT11
I just bought an 85 GT and when it has been running for about 15
minutes it stalls at idle.  As long as I keep the engine revved up to
about 1000 rpm it will keep running but rough.  I’ve replaced the
plugs, plug wires, checked the distributor, replaced the injectors and
Windshield question27 Jun 2005 01:31 GMT2
Hi Folks, I have a '69 Mach 1 that needs a new windshield. I noticed online
two different part numbers for fastbacks and coupe/convertibles. What's the
difference so I make sure I got the right one? The autoglass shop I'm buying
it from seems to think they're the same. TIA
