| 2005 GT's in Washington DC area? | 26 Jun 2005 21:19 GMT | 10 |
I would like to find someone in the DC area with a new GT, manual transmission, to compare to mine. I still get a 'thunk' sound (like drivetrain lash) when I go from decelerating to accelerating. I can hear it especially in 3rd gear going around 15-20 mph.

| QUESTION: 1996 GT Intake Manifold | 26 Jun 2005 20:43 GMT | 3 |
I have purchased a non-Ford "updated" intake manifold to replace the cracked and leaking original intake on my 1996 GT. The part is American-made and seems to be of high quality, and it only cost a fraction of the price of the Ford part.

| Europe Loves The Mustang | 26 Jun 2005 19:41 GMT | 239 |
So maybe you're tired of the dollar being worth about as much as a Turkish lira - or just fed up with what you perceive as anti-American sentiment in Europe. Hate not, patriots. The Euros still want to be us, bad. Why else would

| 2004 Mach 1 question. | 26 Jun 2005 16:49 GMT | 4 |
Is Crimson red a mach 1 only color or can you get it on a GT? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of painting my '69 mach 1 this color. It'd be sweet if it was a Mach only color. It'll also sport a new set of late model Mach 1 17x8 wheels. I'm in the process of rebuilding ...

| UPDATE On "Loose" Front End | 26 Jun 2005 16:23 GMT | 7 |
In a previous post, I talked about how an alignment shop showed me that the front wheels on my 1996 GT could wiggle back and forth when you shook them. The guy said that I needed "inner tie rod ends" which confused me

| Finally chose the engine for my 68 coupe! | 25 Jun 2005 22:14 GMT | 21 |
Well, I have been going back and forth like a pendulum - do I rebuild the 289? Do I just go nuts and drop a 460 in there? Do I build a 351W stroker? ARGH! So I thought I had finally settled on a 351W with a PAW Automotive stroker

| Accident dunces on Ontario roads | 25 Jun 2005 05:05 GMT | 6 |
I saw an accident happen the other day, not too serious, both cars were still drivable. However, the dunces do not know the procedure for dealing with an accident. They get out of their cars, start talking,

| 2001 Mustang headlight issue | 25 Jun 2005 05:03 GMT | 4 |
My girlfriend has a 2001 Mustang. The passenger side headlight has become very fogged & dirty. I tried cleaning the inside, but the grime seems to be in-between two layers of plastic? Also, the headlight does not appear to be designed to disassemble.

| 68 coupe suspension questions | 25 Jun 2005 00:57 GMT | 5 |
All - My 68 coupe drives like a boat - a really sloppy, "floating" feeling and it plows badly when I go around corners. It looks like the original suspension is under the body, including the original bushings.
