1998 Ford Mustang 3.8L -hot as hell in Dallas, TX05 Jul 2005 05:49 GMT16
I need help people. My 98 Mustang has 155k on the odometer and it's still
running strong. The problem is the heat in North Texas. In the afternoon,
it stays cool only on the highway but in rush hour traffic the thermostat
leans as far right as the L in NORMAL but it doesn't overheat ...
Indash Stereo MP3 Player05 Jul 2005 04:57 GMT7
My 2002 GT came with the indash 6 disk changer.  I was thinking of trading
it out for the indash MP3 player version.  Thing is that will still only
hold about 10 CD's worth.  I would like something that supported a DVD drive
so I could burn virtually my entire CD collection in ...

some gentle pursuasion but gave up peacefully in the end. This one

65 Mustang Outer Tie End?04 Jul 2005 03:24 GMT2
I was just putting disc spindles on my car, converting from drums. The
car is V8 with manual steering.
The outer tie rod end is too big to put in the original disc spindles.
The ball joints are fine.

Today my '87 Mustang when I shifted gears, with the clutch in, the RPM
actually went up before hitting the next gear. I stopped at a
stop sign and at a dead stop the RPM went up to 2200 and wouldn't come
down. Stopped at another stop sign, and the same thing. Shut it off,
Odd sound from clutch?03 Jul 2005 21:52 GMT4
When I drive, I hear a squeeking sound
from (I assume) the clutch. When I apply
slight pressure on the cluth pedal, it goes
away.  It's almost like a worn brake sound.
Things that make you feel old !03 Jul 2005 21:09 GMT10
This spring a neighborhood skinny little kid came by to ask if he
could mow my lawn.
I unfortunately had to say I use a lawn/yard service that does that,
and much more for me (gutters, weeding, hedges, etc.).

A Canadian firm has released a new catalytic converter for cars
that removes almost all pollutants from auto exhausts.  It will take
a stream from a regular converter and remove a further 98% of the
pollutants.  A regular converter costs $300 to the industry.  This one
