'91 Mustang not starting18 Aug 2005 04:30 GMT1
Today I came to a stop light and the car died. I could not get it
restarted. It just cranks. Sounds like something is allowing it to fire. 2
months ago I had the fuel pump replaced and I also checked the fuel
shut-off switch. I also checked to see if the timing belt had broken. I'm
Iacoca (sp?) looks like a corpse18 Aug 2005 04:27 GMT10
On those Chrysler ads.  God, you'd THINK people would have
learned after Buick's silly Harley Earl ads.  All it did was
remind people of how GOOD some Buick's were many years ago.
With Iacoca, people won't be thinking "Mustang" they'll be
400hp auto GTO a dog and a fraud?17 Aug 2005 16:26 GMT3
One magazine could only squeeze about 14.45 out of it in the quarter.
Apparently, the auto sucks the life out of the "400hp" engine.  They
predicted a second faster with a six speed.  Only one second with
400hp?

97 Mustang 3.6L --- Loss of power17 Aug 2005 13:37 GMT23
Hey guys, this is my first post.  I just joined the group today.  I was
wondering if anyone here could help me with a problem.  My 97 mustang
(automatic) seems like it has no power.  When it is on inclines of
about 45 degrees or more the car starts to vibrate.  I have had it to
Exhaust running question...17 Aug 2005 08:37 GMT2
If I install a dual header exhaust off my 66 w/5.0 frog leg style right in
front of the rear wheels... Is there a problem there that I can't see?

Hey all -
Just to verify, the motor mounts used to put a 289 V8 in will also work
for a 351W, right?

Looking for window guards17 Aug 2005 02:09 GMT1
I just recently bought a '03 Stang and i'm having trouble finding some
of those window vent guards that allow you to roll the window down some
w/o rain getting in.
Recently i went to a local auto parts dealer to order some from there

Great rear-view mirror message16 Aug 2005 03:35 GMT5
In the latest Mustang Monthly, on page 68, there is a spread on a 2001
Cobra convertible. Decent ride, but nothing overly exceptional.
HOWEVER, on small piece caught my eye. They have a close-up of the
drivers side rear view mirror. Instead of the standard 'Objects in
A sad state of affairs15 Aug 2005 21:20 GMT19
You might remember when I posted a few months back about my 73 Eldorado.
Just yesterday I decided to take the vinal roof of the car and get to work
on the rust underneath.  As expected, there were several areas where the
rust had eaten all the way through.  The damage was pretty bad ...
'97 4.6 weird shudder15 Aug 2005 15:26 GMT8
I have a 97 GT 4.6 and I've been having this strange problem. Between
1500 and 2000 rpm's I get this strange shudder which feels exactly like
it would when going over rumble strips in the road. I know it's not
road noise 'cause when it has happened the road has been flat and

If you were in the market for a new Mustang, which of these other *new*
vehicles would you *seriously* consider, and why?

2) Dodge Charger or R/T/SRT-8
