| Slow day in ramfm... | 30 Sep 2005 18:53 GMT | 4 |
So. I've had it. TFrog is in bad shape, and I can't let it suffer any more. As it is, I get the hurky-jerky starting up in first, especially when the car's warmed up. But I've been routinely skipping 2nd gear, going right to 3rd

| 1.7 Roller Rocker Q | 30 Sep 2005 15:19 GMT | 3 |
I have an '89 5.0 5-speed and a set of real '93 Cobra 1.7 roller rockers. As I understand it, there are two ways to install these ... with the shims under them and without. Any advice on which is the RIGHT way for my engine?

HP gains for all models, tested on both Jeeps AND Mustangs. http://www.angelfire.com/nc2/mycoffeecan/page1.html How about one of you boys test one out on an old Mustang, and if it works, I'll try it on F250.

Saw a 4-eyed Fox body today painted (with what was probably a roller) in bright freaking blue with the body accents painted (again with a roller or maybe even a paintbrush) in bright red. Ugly red streak all the way down each side.

| Dead battery, then smoking wires after jump attempt | 30 Sep 2005 04:01 GMT | 6 |
I have a 92 LX 5.0 notchback, and I got into the car today and it wouldn't start (engine would barely click). Radio and lights looked fine, but figured it was a weak battery. I tried jumping it but the engine would turn very slowly and would not start. Tried to jump again

| Which Wheels?? | 30 Sep 2005 03:58 GMT | 28 |
Checkout the link below to see the two different sets of wheels I've had on my car. Lemme know which set you guys (and Kate) think look best. Nevermind the tires as they're going away next spring, probably for either a set of Firestone Indy's or Bridgestone Potenza G009's.

| 2006 Mustang GT grinding noise (transmission??) | 29 Sep 2005 19:20 GMT | 7 |
After two months of waiting I got my new 2006 Mustang GT a couple of weeks ago. It is a _manual transmission_, and from day one I am hearing a grinding noise under certain conditions that makes me very uncomfortable. These are my observations:

| Charger is a hearse | 28 Sep 2005 11:49 GMT | 11 |
One parked next to my Mach-1 tonight. It's at least (the door sills) about 6 inches higher than my car. Muscle car? Not really. Especially since the latest comparison I saw of it was against a Cadillac. They know

| GTO HP | 27 Sep 2005 01:43 GMT | 9 |
I saw an ad in the local papers today for $5000 off the sticker for 2005 GTOs. I haven¹t been that attracted to the car, but that kind of discount gets my attention. 400 hp for less than $30k is pretty cool. The problem is that a GTO, on

This is old news, but I haven't seen it covered here... Yep folks, ford has once again decided on instant collectable marketing by spreading the cobras thin. http://thegt500source.com/2005/articles/shelbygt500.dealerallocati.html
