67 Mustang Power Disc  Brakes-Low Pedal24 Oct 2005 02:01 GMT1
I replaced the power assist unit in my 67 Mustang with a rebuilt one as the
previous one was leaking. There is now at least an inch of free play in the
pedal with the engine running  which causes a  very uncertain braking
feeling! The free play returns slowly after the pedal is ...
Rotors...23 Oct 2005 23:39 GMT20
Took my 5.0 into Ford for some brake work - a little squeaking and a mushy pedal.
(Car is a 93 and has 36,000 miles. Original brakes as far as I know.)
Well, they replaced the front pads but said the rotors are not too good. Not worth replacing, but that they will "warp quickly". ...
HID conversion23 Oct 2005 20:02 GMT3
Not too long ago, HID headlight conversion kits were over $1000 (and
some were $2000).  Now there are kits on eBay for under $400 and some
under $300.  They even claim to do high- and low-beams.  For example:

Well. one good thing about the oil "boom"23 Oct 2005 01:06 GMT8
Some dirt-poor farmers in Manitoba, Canada discovered
oil (a large deposit) under their property.  So now they're

LIBERAL leftist government let the keep more than 15%,
AC on 96 3.0 V623 Oct 2005 00:37 GMT1
The air conditioning clutch isn't kicking in.  Before it quit kicking in
at all, it put out very cold air.  I checked fuses and connections and
they all seem to be good.  Next, I checked the CCRM connector.  Pin 21
shows normal voltage but pin 22 and 23 are dead (0 voltage).  ...
1990 Mustang 2.3 #3 Cyl dead22 Oct 2005 20:35 GMT5
I have a 1990 2.3 Mustang that suddenly started a solid misfire with loss of
power. When I asked if there was and unusual bang, crunch, clatter, etc.
just before the loss of power the answer was no. When I went to drive the
car home I am quite sure that for a brief second it ran on ...
Bad Alternator? Need Advice22 Oct 2005 16:55 GMT10
97 GT w/50,000 mi., 4.6 with stock everything, A/T. On the way to work
this morn I noticed my headlights were dim and when I parked, sure
enough, give it some gas and they brighten and voltage meter goes back
up. When in drive and stopped (on the brake at a light for instance),

Any suggestions on how I can "repair" my stock vinyl convertible top so it
won't rip off the top of my car this winter?
I am planning to replace it this spring.
Thanks!
