| How to Rotate a Crankshaft | 11 Oct 2005 18:02 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1972 Ford 351C and I need to retime the engine because I had to replace the distributor. To retime it, I need to rotate the crankshaft to the TDC mark on the damper. Stupid question - what's the best way to rotate the crankshaft to the TDC mark? Do you use the

| Anyone program 3rd key? Dealer wants $100 !!! | 11 Oct 2005 07:19 GMT | 2 |
I wanted a 3rd (spare) key and paid $30 at my local dealer. There are instructions to enable it if you already have 2 working keys. In my case, the programming didn't work. The service guy tried to do it also but failed. NOW they are trying to charge me $100 for service to have

| Biofuels = propaganda? | 11 Oct 2005 03:03 GMT | 8 |
I received this response from the Can. Gov't regarding ethanol. Interesting thing is, I can see the over-production of corn in set fields depleting the soil if asked to be a substitute for oil. Mr. Richard Anderson

| Warped camshaft or crankshaft? | 10 Oct 2005 17:02 GMT | 25 |
My father had a 1990 Mustang GT that lost some its "guts" or power so my father purchased another car and let it sit idle for the last 4 years. Anyway, I have a 15 year old kid who begged for it and I finally caved. When I asked my father why he thought it lost its power

| 1991 GT Convertible question | 08 Oct 2005 21:33 GMT | 5 |
The 'dome lights' (I guess that is what you would call the lights built into the rearvew mirror) will not turn off. I had someone tell me that the problem might be a stuck relay...which alos makes it so my alarm will not arm. My question is, is this plausible? Would a a stuck

| A good evening at HRP | 08 Oct 2005 21:18 GMT | 3 |
I took the 351'd '89 GT to Baytown last night to see how the cooler air would do for it. Speed was pretty much the same at 106.67, but ET went down .28 secs. to 13.277. Not too bad for the 60' time of 2.09 that street tires give
