87 Mustang GT help....29 Nov 2005 13:40 GMT5
I have had my 87 Mustang GT now for a few months, but for some reason,
like most 'Stang owners do, I feel the need for more speed. I am not
very knowledgeable about these things, as I have never tried to fix a

dashboard noise29 Nov 2005 11:52 GMT3
The sounds comes from the dashboard. According the guys at the Ford store,
they say its coming from the passenger side of the dashboard.  It's hard to
describe the sound.  Sometimes it sounds like a gurgle or like a plasticy
sound.  Doesn't sound metallic and I don't hear it when ...
employee pricing29 Nov 2005 02:12 GMT4
Sorry if someone has already said this.  But GM can't have "employee
pricing" if they don't have any employees.
storing mustang for the winter28 Nov 2005 16:28 GMT1
So, I was just going to get snow tires and use the Mustang for the winter
but many people have convinced me to park it.
So, my question is, what should I do to the Mustang before I park it for the
winter?  Should it be up on blocks?  Drain the fluids?
Backfiring28 Nov 2005 13:49 GMT1
My '83 Mustang GT backfires through the carb at about 3,000 RPM at 3/4th
acceleration. Lighter accel load does not cause this.
Stock configuration. Holley 4-V carb. 5 speed.

Wideband Toys27 Nov 2005 03:45 GMT3
I installed my new gear from Innovate Motorsports yesterday. I got a
wideband HO2S and controller (LC-1), their Aux-box (LMA-3), and their
AFR gauge (XD-1). I chose the LMA-3 over the LM-1 because you can data
log through it (with a beta firmware update) and it's got analog

With winter fast approaching, I'd like to replace the stock tires on my 2005
Mustang GT with studded snow tires.
Has anyone installed snow tires on a 2005 GT?  Any recommendations or things

Winter Snow tires for 05' Mustang27 Nov 2005 00:51 GMT2
I have a 05 Mustang GT. I wanted to know if i will need to put on snow
tires for the car. The cheapest ones i checked run for around $500 for set
of 4 and that is without the installation. I live in Connecticut so we get
a fair share of snow here.

Hi group
I have been running 200x60x15 snow tires in the
winter and now they are worn out but I see the 200 size is no longer
