Synthetic Blends11 Nov 2005 14:28 GMT47
Q:
How much synthetic oil is really in a synthetic blend oil? I saw on the Havoline website that they say between 3 and 10%. That seems really low. And for the price? It would be better, and cheaper to throw in one litre of full synthetic oil in with the rest of the dino oil in ...

I do hope someone out here can help me with this as I'm not getting

Cost to Drive a Mustang (2005)08 Nov 2005 23:04 GMT25
This post was such a rousing success the last two years that I just had to do
it again this year.  And because I am a glutton for abuse from Usenetizens, I'm
cross-posting this into my "home" newsgroup, alt.music.rush (geekiest post
ever, my big ol' butt!).
4.6L question08 Nov 2005 19:38 GMT15
I'm looking at a 95 T-bird it's got 167,000 miles. OT car, I know but the
running gear is the same as mustang, I think. Assuming all the fluilds are
all good and the engine/trans sound good and have been taken care of, what
is the reasonable life expectency of this engine/trans ...
89 LX vert seat belt ?08 Nov 2005 04:20 GMT6
The plastic sheaths that support the buckle (short) side of my seat belts
(1989 LX 5.0 convertible) are cracking and breaking apart. This allows the
buckle side to fall down between the seat and tunnel thus hard to access. I
went to my local ford dealer today to see about a ...

Time to drastically cut autoworker salaries, benefits07 Nov 2005 20:53 GMT54
How Ford can sell more F150s than any vehicle made and not
make a profit is terrible, but it's obviously related to costs.
Rather than cheapen the product and drive more buyers into the
Japanese camp, my advice to the employees would be to voluntarily

2005 Mustang Experiance07 Nov 2005 12:44 GMT6
While on vacation last week I rented a 2005 Mustang convert from Hertz - V6,
Auto, basic car.  I drove about 1200 miles around the state of Washington in a
variety of conditions.  Only a few short stretches of highway miles, though.  Last
year I rented a 2004 Mustang convert ...
1987 Mustang GT 5.0 w/T-Tops Question07 Nov 2005 05:31 GMT1
Does anyone know how many 1987 Mustang 5.0 GTs were made with the
T-Top option?
This was the year of the makeover with the new GT ground effect and
supposedly (not sure) the only year the GT 5.0 came with T-Tops from
Any Bolt-On Subframe kits?07 Nov 2005 03:54 GMT16
Most kits I've seen need to be welded. I don't have any weld shops
around (that I trust).
One mechanic told me that there are bolt-on subframe connector kits
also. I have a 2000 GT convertible that's I'd like to firm up a bit.
Western Wheel hub cap needed06 Nov 2005 16:47 GMT2
I have an old set of Aluminum "Western Wheel" rims
made by Rockwell International back then. I believe they
came off a early 80's or late 70's mustang I had then. I use them for my
snow tires. They are 150x390mm. I am missing one of the small hub caps that
Rain, rain, go away06 Nov 2005 16:43 GMT6
Let's review...
WAY back in March and April, I wanted to put TFrog into the shop. It was
running rough and the trans hadn't been right in years. But we were getting
