Adjusting the clutch06 Nov 2005 01:28 GMT6
I noticed in my 1994 GT's owner's manual it recommends to have the clutch
adjusted after 5,000 miles.  Although I've never specifically requested this
service be done before, I used to take it into the dealership for an oil
change and the clutch always felt tighter and more ...

97 Ford Mustang GT05 Nov 2005 14:17 GMT8
This afternoon I was helping my friend out with replacing the rear brake pads on his 97 Mustang GT (60k miles) and rang into a little problem.
I started with the passenger side rear and after turning the piston clockwise for a good 1/2 hr I couldn't get the piston to go back in. ...

Help...
I bought a project car. The alternator wires have been removed. I have the

limited on extension cords.
Lowering 2000 GT04 Nov 2005 21:29 GMT5
Can someone post a link on how-to DIY?  (I don't have any special
equipment, just ramps in my garage). I saw some springs on Summit site
but not sure if some funky tools are needed.
Thanks
"94 GT04 Nov 2005 07:18 GMT5
Just noticed that something called the "crankcase emission air filter"
should be replaced at 30K mile intervals. What is this and where is it
located? Can't find a reference on my service CD nor the Haynes manual.
Appears to be unique to the 5l engine.

Parking Brake Cable and MM LCA Installation04 Nov 2005 02:46 GMT1
While installing MM LCAs on my 94 Cobra, the instructions said to
disengage the parking brake cable from the brake caliper (in order to
reverse the ABS cable on the parking brake cable bracket).  Anyway,
after finishing the installation, I could not pull the parking brake

as far as the mechanical aspects of the engine and trans? What the big
improvements if any on the 06 model?

67 cougar part 202 Nov 2005 19:48 GMT8
Thanks for the info. I stumbled across this car in a junkyard. I asked how
much as a joke. I already had 3 F100's at the house. The guy said if I could
get it out by that evening I could have it for $5.00. We towed it home that
afternoon. It has all the original interior, only ...

Early mustang rack and pinion upgrade question02 Nov 2005 06:31 GMT6
Some people have used a taurus rack for a swap. Has anyone ever considered
using a rack out of a 93 to 96 probe? It's also a rear steer car and maybe
it'll provide a better turning radius than the taurus rack.
