Used head 1990 Mustang - Opinions/advice02 Nov 2005 01:50 GMT3
I went to one of the local jobbers I deal with to see if they had a rebuilt
head for my 1990 Mustang. They did not have a rebuilt remaining in stock but
after a few calls offered a salvaged one with roller cam "complete and ready
to go" for $175 Can ($150 US).

crankshaft vibration damper.  Then it tells me to, after installing a
compression gauge in cylinder #1, turn crankshaft clockwise with a ...
2006 Grinding?01 Nov 2005 03:03 GMT6
I too have a 2006 GT automatic Mustand and I'm noticing this slight
grinding sound.  I'm not sure exactly how to describe it.  I don't seem to
notice it while driving on the highway or faster speeds, but I do seem to
hear it when idle at a red light or sometimes driving slower ...
Sticking valve?01 Nov 2005 01:53 GMT10

original.  Only has 32,000 miles.  When running, there is a "ticking"
noise coming from the number 8 cylinder.  Sounds like its valve
