Possible bad ground?31 Dec 2005 20:53 GMT1
On my 70 mustang fastback I noticed that when I turn my blinkers on
I've got the rear side marker light blinking with the rear tail light.
The wires don't look spliced in the rear. The wires still look
original. All the lights on the car work, including front blinkers,

460 into early mustang question.31 Dec 2005 03:15 GMT10
I can't find my old links to 460 into early mustang swap kits. The one I'm
looking for in particular is for my '69. I do know of Crites Restoration.
Also any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
smaller steering wheel for '65 with manual steering31 Dec 2005 01:49 GMT7
I have a '65 Mustang (200 cu in, 3 speed) with manual steering.  The
steering wheel is about 15" or 16" in diameter and leaves little room
above my legs.  I'd like to replace the wheel with one that is smaller.
I've seen some in catalogs that are 13"-14" in diameter.  However, ...

Wound Up

Dreamed I bought a 2006 Mustang30 Dec 2005 15:04 GMT1
I had a terrible dream the other night. It still haunts me.
I went to the Ford dealer. They were incredibly busy. The dealership
was like a Wal-Mart. They had a red Mustang on a rotating platform in
the store. A salesman asked what car I wanted to buy and I pointed to

'78 Merc Zephyr. Same clutch/brake pedals as Mustang?29 Dec 2005 19:14 GMT3
Okay, before you chastise me, hear me out. I've got a '78 Mercury
Zephyr w/302 & automatic C4 tranny. I'd like to convert this car to a
manual tranny. I know that these cars did come with manual trannys, but
I've been unable to find the brake and clutch pedals from a
Turn signal troubleshooting29 Dec 2005 19:07 GMT6
My left rear turn signals stopped working recently so I did the easy
thing first and replaced the bulbs.  This made no difference.  The tail
lights work but not the turn signal.  The left front flashes rapidly
and the right side signals work so I figure it's not the flasher unit.
Seat removal 89 5.0 LX29 Dec 2005 05:50 GMT3
Need to remove both front seats from 89 LX 5.0 convertible in order to
access Torx for removal of inboard seatbelt.
Question. Do I need to remove the seat and mounting rails from the chassis
(4 bolts) or is there a way to release (not obvious to me) the seats from
When it rains it drips..28 Dec 2005 21:29 GMT13
I've actually got two questions
#1: On my 99 'vert, the driver's and passenger's side windows leak a little
where the upper gasket pieces meet on the convertable top. It gets me right
in the arm when driving and can be a little irritating. It seems to be
Will it fit?28 Dec 2005 20:18 GMT2
Can I stuff 15x8.5's wrapped with 275-50-15's under my 99 'Vert without
mods? How would this affect my speedometer vs my 205/60/15's?

Happy Holidays 28 Dec 2005 13:46 GMT8
I will say Happy Holidays to all as I don't want to offend any body by
saying Merry Christmas. I'll take my chances Merry Christmas All. Keep up
the good work in the coming year, you all are worth a good laugh now and
again.
'66 parking brake handle27 Dec 2005 15:02 GMT1
I need to replace the handle but there is a metal piece behind the set
screw.  Does anyone know how to remove this?
Thanks,
Mike
