Cracked intake manifold - How do I get my reimbursement?18 Feb 2006 23:00 GMT1
2 days ago, my intake manifold on my '99 GT cracked. Just now, doing some
research online, I found out that on the 16th Ford agreed to a settlement
that requires them to pay at least $728 each to owners of particular cars
who have had their intake manifold crack. The deadline for ...

Replace stock shifter/handle18 Feb 2006 15:53 GMT2
Looking to replace the stock shifter and handle on my '03 GT. What do
you recommend?  I've heard that the Steeda and Pro 5.0 are pretty good,
but noisey.  Has anyone used an MGW?

I currently own a 97 Mustang GT, and i'm having problems with my headlights.
The problem started out a few weeks ago, when I would try to turn on my lights,
they woudn't come on on demand, they would if i waited like a min or 2 with the
switch on, then a week or 2 later I had to ...
Windsor-Fox RIP OFF18 Feb 2006 06:36 GMT20
I ordered a custom made wiring harness for my 1966 Mustang from
WINDSOR-FOX, whom I thought was a reputable company in California. This
company, WINDSOR-FOX has been mentioned in articles in magazines and
websites, which led me to think they were good people. In September I ...
Whatever happened to the WW2 German idea?17 Feb 2006 18:54 GMT21
Of using coal to produce artificial substitutes for gasoline and oil?
I think they perfected
some of it.  The U.S. has decent coal deposits, maybe it's time to take
another look at
putting a 4bbl in my '6517 Feb 2006 06:28 GMT9
i absolutely love my Mustang.  When my husband bought it for me for our
anniversary, it was the car of my dreams.  BUT...i don't know anything
about it really, i put the key in and drive.  (Blissfully!)  Thankfully
he's  more of a gear head than i am.  We've been looking into ...

Hello, I am new here and am looking for some advice. I have a 65 Mustang

engine cranks and starts, but only stays running for a few seconds and
dies out. It has a Mallory electronic distributor and coil and a ...

Need Camshaft Recommendation for 65 2+2 with 28917 Feb 2006 03:30 GMT7
I have a 65 2+2 with a 289 and a toploader 4 speed.  The rear end is
the stock 8" with 2.70 gears.  The car is going to the bodyshop and
paint booth this year, and while it's there, I plan on doing some work
on the motor.  The car is sort of a daily driver...don't drive it
Accessory Drive Belt -- How Much Cracking is Normal?16 Feb 2006 16:21 GMT6
I have 45,000 miles on my accessory drive belt that is rated for 60,000
miles.  There is cracking on the ribs, parallel to the width of the belt,
but the belt is intact.  Is this considered normal, or should I replace it?
Thanks,
Removing 5.0 emblems?16 Feb 2006 15:15 GMT5
One of the emblembs was "missing" from my '88 5.0 when I got it.  There is
no apparent paint damage but there is some hard black residue probably from
the adhesive from the emblem.
I would prefer to just remove that residue and and also remove the emblem
65 Mustang Engine Transplant16 Feb 2006 00:39 GMT20
I'm looking for some opinions on the smallest useful engine that can be
transplanted into a 1965 ford mustang... Is it a stretch to say that a
honda accord engine might be compatible and/or even strong enough to
drive the mustang?
remote reprogramming16 Feb 2006 00:38 GMT1
I've just got a new key fob and want to program it for my 2000 Coupe.
But the question is, do I need to reprogram the original one together
with the one I just bought? I just don't want to mess up with the
original one since it works so perfectly so far.
