Another CD stuck in the Mach 460 CD changer17 Jun 2006 21:42 GMT8
2001 GT, Mach 460 head unit with in-dash CD changer.
Okay, I've had disc get stuck when attempting to eject them before.  Usually, I
would use another disc to push it back in, and the disc would eject.  This was
usually only a problem when it's really hot.
GT500 Numbers17 Jun 2006 17:04 GMT16
I read that Ford says the GT500 will sticker "in the low $40Gs" and
they'll produce 8K-10K cars per year for three years.

66 Mustang shuts off17 Jun 2006 15:32 GMT8
I have a 1966 Mustang with a V8 289 engine.  It was recently tuned up and was
running well until this weekend.  Now, it cranks easily, idles a little rough,
and operates fine at a high speed.  But when I let off the accelerator, the
engine cuts off.  If I deaccelerate and put it in ...
"service engine soon" light17 Jun 2006 03:08 GMT2
I just hit the 60k mark on my 2002 mustang. I park my car every winter so I
usually top up any fluids that needs to be. I am concerned that I may have
over filled the transmisson fluid (maybe that's the reason why the light
has come on, or is it because it's a factory setting to ...
Megiars Vinyl Protectant???  Aren't all "protectants" bad?16 Jun 2006 21:36 GMT6
I've read that vinyl protectants are actually bad for your interior as
they act as a wick to pull more chemicals out of your vinyl as they
evaporate.  But I've also seen meguiars brand of vinyl protectant at my
local auto store.  Meguiars is a pretty reputable company from what I
Thoughts on first Mustang purchase please16 Jun 2006 21:34 GMT28
I have been looking for a long time now and have found something
within my price range, just curious what the folks who have been doing
this for awhile would think. The car is a 1971 mustang coupe with
302/2v, auto, ac, pb.
Mercury Needs A Cougar, NOW!16 Jun 2006 19:40 GMT8
Interesting commentary.

Remember the Cougar? Not the oddly-shaped front-wheel drive Cougar of
2000 nor the big-bodied Thunderbird clone, nor even, God forbid, the
question about change to 6-speed tranny16 Jun 2006 14:26 GMT10
I have a 96 GT Vert with stock tranny except some work about 4 years ago on
differential so asked them to put in 3.73 gears.
Now, with gas being so expensive, I'm much more aware of the fact that at
70mph my RPMs in 5th gear are kinda high! I think around 2400 but not sure.
Worth replacing rear on 2K GT ???15 Jun 2006 22:41 GMT12
I have 80K miles on my 2000 GT 'vert.
Some water got into the rear-end and the gears make a slight grinding
noise. I asked the dealer to change the diff fluid and check the gears,
but he refused to even look inside, telling me that he was sure I would
Rear End Noise 01 Gt (Help)15 Jun 2006 04:57 GMT4
Ok here's the problem, tonight on my way home from our summer trip from
Houston to home about 200 miles into the trip I started getting this weird
growling noise but I couldn't tell where it was coming from sounded like it
was coming from the rear but we couldn't be sure.
paint scratched, rear bumper, 99 v6 coupe15 Jun 2006 04:37 GMT1
This just happened yesterday...my fault, backed up to far and scratched
off some paint on my rear left side.
Anyone have the best idea for getting it fixed/re-painted?  even though
my car is 7 years old, the paint job looks really good and I'd like to
Internal Differential alignment issue?14 Jun 2006 22:28 GMT3
A month or so ago I could hear a very slight noise (whine) from the
differential. Sine the gears were replaced just under a year ago I took it
back into the shop and they confirmed the noise. (Chipped pinion gear). Now,
three gear sets later the noise right from get go is worse. The ...
Identifing a C4 tranny14 Jun 2006 21:00 GMT1
I'm trying to identify what year my transmission is.
The vacuum module on my transmission is whets throwing me off.
I know its a C4 because of the bolt pattern of the fluid pan.
Looking in the service manual and talking with the parts guy, the module in
New stang owner looking for cleaning tips...14 Jun 2006 12:42 GMT3
I just bought my first mustang last week.  '06 V6 Vista Blue with the
Pony Package.  Prior to this car I've always driven around used economy
vehicles with less that perfect paint jobs.  Cleaning my car has never
really been something that concerned me because the paint finish was
Can I keep windows from rolling down and then up when the door is opened?14 Jun 2006 02:38 GMT2
I like how my stang does this, except I'm getting tint applied tomorrow
and I'd like to turn this off until the stuff bakes on.  Is there any
way I can turn this off?  I looked through the manual but didn't see
anything.
