| Another CD stuck in the Mach 460 CD changer | 17 Jun 2006 21:42 GMT | 8 |
2001 GT, Mach 460 head unit with in-dash CD changer. Okay, I've had disc get stuck when attempting to eject them before. Usually, I would use another disc to push it back in, and the disc would eject. This was usually only a problem when it's really hot.

I have a 1966 Mustang with a V8 289 engine. It was recently tuned up and was running well until this weekend. Now, it cranks easily, idles a little rough, and operates fine at a high speed. But when I let off the accelerator, the engine cuts off. If I deaccelerate and put it in ...

| "service engine soon" light | 17 Jun 2006 03:08 GMT | 2 |
I just hit the 60k mark on my 2002 mustang. I park my car every winter so I usually top up any fluids that needs to be. I am concerned that I may have over filled the transmisson fluid (maybe that's the reason why the light has come on, or is it because it's a factory setting to ...

| Megiars Vinyl Protectant??? Aren't all "protectants" bad? | 16 Jun 2006 21:36 GMT | 6 |
I've read that vinyl protectants are actually bad for your interior as they act as a wick to pull more chemicals out of your vinyl as they evaporate. But I've also seen meguiars brand of vinyl protectant at my local auto store. Meguiars is a pretty reputable company from what I

| Mercury Needs A Cougar, NOW! | 16 Jun 2006 19:40 GMT | 8 |
Interesting commentary. ---- Remember the Cougar? Not the oddly-shaped front-wheel drive Cougar of 2000 nor the big-bodied Thunderbird clone, nor even, God forbid, the

| question about change to 6-speed tranny | 16 Jun 2006 14:26 GMT | 10 |
I have a 96 GT Vert with stock tranny except some work about 4 years ago on differential so asked them to put in 3.73 gears. Now, with gas being so expensive, I'm much more aware of the fact that at 70mph my RPMs in 5th gear are kinda high! I think around 2400 but not sure.

I have 80K miles on my 2000 GT 'vert. Some water got into the rear-end and the gears make a slight grinding noise. I asked the dealer to change the diff fluid and check the gears, but he refused to even look inside, telling me that he was sure I would

I just bought my first mustang last week. '06 V6 Vista Blue with the Pony Package. Prior to this car I've always driven around used economy vehicles with less that perfect paint jobs. Cleaning my car has never really been something that concerned me because the paint finish was

| Can I keep windows from rolling down and then up when the door is opened? | 14 Jun 2006 02:38 GMT | 2 |
I like how my stang does this, except I'm getting tint applied tomorrow and I'd like to turn this off until the stuff bakes on. Is there any way I can turn this off? I looked through the manual but didn't see anything.
