My corolla melted the original manifold? hose. Replaced it with non genuine hose and same thing occurred within 10 min. Can the air have become hotter than usual or do I just need genuine part?

I was on the Fordracingparts.com website tonite. They are advertising their 79-93 5.0 superchargers, both 6 and 9 lb, for $1,750US. That seems like a pretty good deal, and apparently, they don't require an oil line. Anyone have any experience with these blowers?

I could use some advice from this group...I have a 68 with a 2 barrel 289 that was rebuilt last year that gets about 11 miles per gallon. I'm soon going to be commuting 360 miles a week, and would like to get better mileage given that gas costs about $3.20 a gallon where I live.

My 66 Mustang quits running after about 5 or 10 minutes. If I am driving down the road it restarts and works fine after that. If it happens at a stop sign, I have to restart it. It starts immediately and works fine after that. If I park it for a while and start it again the ...
