I have an '88 Mustang 5.0 and was wondering what is a fair amount of time for a mechanic to charge for changing a starter motor and then also a passenger side valve cover gasket? I was charged one hour for the starter motor hence $85 and two hours for the valve cover hence $170 ...

I'm talking about bass that rhymes with "base". :-) The stereo in my 93 GT sounds fine, with plenty of bass, at idle or at constant speed. But under acceleration (in any gear) the bass almost completely goes away, like I turned down the bass knob. I let off the gas and the bass

Ok....so i was driving last nite, and all of a sudden the car started smoking from under the hood and out of my exhaust. My b/f looked at it and said its POSSIBLY the catilac converter getting oil in it or the rings are bad......but we dont know, could this be it, or is there ...

A "auto electrican?" has fitted a pair of Cobra tail lights to my 99GT here in England. And wired up a rear fog light. He had a slight mishap whilst fittingthem, and shorted a wire in the centre console under the arm rest. This blew fuse 29 10AMP under the dash and a big 20AMP ...
