Trunk carpet color for 1996 GT with black interior04 Jun 2006 07:14 GMT1
Anyone have an idea of what the color of the trunk carpet is called in
a 1996 GT with a black interior. It's dark grey with a fleck of lighter
grey - I've just bought the car, the trunk carpet is missing and I want
to build a custom sub enclosure. I'd be nice to have them all match  ...
01 V6 jerking, shuddering04 Jun 2006 03:04 GMT3
I have an 01 V6 93,000 miles.  I have already determined I need an idle
air control valve, because my car almost dies most of the time when I'm
stopped at a light, etc.  runs really low and rough.  However, after
driving my car today, whenever I stop at a light and accelerate, it

This Time I'm Going With General Tires03 Jun 2006 21:11 GMT4
It was time for some new shoes (tires) for my Mustang, so I did my
usual search on Tire Rack.com.  I selected all the brands for my size,
gave it a spin and my initial search spit out about 30 different tires.
Then after carefully reviewing their/Tire Rack's test results, I was

Tire Q03 Jun 2006 07:35 GMT7
Guys, I need tires for my 5.0.
I've been looking around but they're pretty pricey.  I can get a good deal on some BFG G-Force KDWS but again, they're pricey.
You guys must have tons of recommendations on good tires at a good price??? (And I don't need W or Y rated tires unless I ...
Help for 67 Mustang Steering Horn Assembly02 Jun 2006 22:57 GMT2
Have a 67 Mustang Convertable.  Horn has never honked.  Took steering
wheel off and am stumped.  Anyone got idea about what might be missing.
It seems like the outer part that you push to honk the horn isn't
sitting right to press against the horn points.

Fabrication of power rack and pinion for 69 mustang02 Jun 2006 19:05 GMT2
I have a 69 grande equiped with the old loosy-goosy steering. I'm
interested in upgrading to a power rack and pinion setup.  I know that
there are many bolt-in kits available for this, but they all seem
pretty pricey and furthermore, I would like to try my hand at

Quick question01 Jun 2006 05:09 GMT9
Why is it bad - so I've heard - to start your car (5-spd 5.0) from a stop in second gear?
With the stock 2.73s I can still easily start moving in 2nd, and being that 2nd has a top speed of 70mph, I never have to shift on the brutal commute home...  It's pretty nice.
Should I not do ...
