Was there any overheating issues with wire harness or headlight lenses?
These are not HID just a brighter Halogen filled with Xenon. I know most

Hey all!  In my efforts to pass Tn emissions I set the timing on my mustang
from 14-15 back to the stock 10.  The '88 msutang has a b303 cam in it and
1.5inch headers.  I got to thinking about it, should I have set the timing
back to the stock 10 since I have the aftermarket cam? ...

whimpy power door lock actuators.20 Aug 2006 05:11 GMT4
Greetings....  I searched failed door lock posts and didn't see anyone
having the same problem I'm seeing.   I have a 2000 Mustang and the
power door lock actuators (both sides) are so weak they cannot "flip"
the lock mechanism.  I removed the actuator from the passengers side,
Drove  rice Burner for a couple of days :)18 Aug 2006 22:31 GMT1
Went on vacation for a few up to the hills of VT (I live on L.I. N.Y) and
tried to get a Hertz stang like my last trip, but no luck :(
They did give me a sporty Suburu Outback 2.5i wagon loaded to the gills.
So?

Question octane rating17 Aug 2006 07:34 GMT12
I understand that what octane meant in 1971 no longer applies.
Just received a set of owner's manuals purchased on eBay for
my 1971 Mustang.  The book says I need 99.8 octane.
Where do I buy that?  Do I need to go to a local hardware store
vinyl roof on 1968 mustang17 Aug 2006 01:46 GMT2
Hello, i have a 1968 mustang coupe with a vinyl roof. I had to remove

they need to be removed to install the vinyl? If so, are the just
Tire rubbing problem16 Aug 2006 23:31 GMT2
My front tires rub on the bottom portion of the fender when the wheels are
slightly turned.  Otherwise, clearance is fine.  Any suggestions as to how I
can roll the bottom edge of the fender about 1/2 an inch to avoid this
problem?  It is a 66 Mustang coupe and the tires are 215 ...

Question About 71-73 Eyebrow Fender Extensions16 Aug 2006 05:06 GMT1
I'm going to be putting the fenders back on my '72 mach1 as soon as I finish
some engine bay painting details and the engine is installed.
Was there supposed to be any type of rubber gaskets installed between the
front fender and "eyebrow" extensions?

The A/C Compressor (with "Factory Air" and not "dealer air") died in my 93
GT about 18 months ago and the Compressor Clutch recently failed
catastrophically.  Since I cannot afford to replace the Compressor and it
seems silly to replace the Compressor Clutch if I am not going to ...
Mufflers for 87-93 5.015 Aug 2006 18:44 GMT8
I just posted questions about emissions testing, and would like to thank
those who responded. I've concluded my best bet would be to go ahead and
install ordinary tailpipes on my GT again.
However, the reason I had turndowns installed on it was for the great
93 GT eating alternators15 Aug 2006 09:34 GMT10
This car is a 1993 Mustang GT, 5 speed, with 189000 miles.
Could it be that my belt tensioner is too tight? Can that thing be adjusted?
I've had 1 alternator's pulley disintegrate and a couple of others sieze.
Good thing the first one came with a lifetime warranty. Back to ...
