Adjusting 88 mustang pedals?15 Aug 2006 09:34 GMT6
In my '88 5.0 that I recently purchased the pedals are all real close
together.   By that I mean that the gas pedal is maybe 1.5 inches away from
the brake.  Any ideas if the pedals are adjustables to the left and right?
I know it wasnt this way in other fox body stangs that I ...

'65/66 fastback over '03 Cobra chassis13 Aug 2006 22:20 GMT2
In my latest Car Craft there's a picture from a car show of a yellow '65
fastback body installed over a '03 Cobra chassis.  '03 Cobra drivetrain
and suspension, but the '65 fastback design.  That's AWESOME.  I wish it
was a car they were doing a full spread on, I would love to ...

Could I put a somewhat wider tire on the rear?
Needs rear tires anyway and I want more rubber
on the road.  The rear end is limited slip 2.65
Engine Stalls12 Aug 2006 04:54 GMT2
I recently found and bought my dream car, a '65 Mustang Coupe. I tried
taking her out for a drive and discovered that the car stalls when you
hit the brake. I stoped for a stop sign and when I went to press on the
gas, the engine stalled. I was able to make it out of the ...

Hi - I bought myself a very nice clean 89 LX 5.0 convertible and it is
my first fox body car and I can really see why this car has such a lot
of fans - it is great and I can see these cars being put on the same
gearhead pedestals as the 55-57 chevies and 64- 71 Mustangs in the near

Emissions test question12 Aug 2006 03:40 GMT5
I live in Houston, Texas, and own a 90 Mustang GT. Recently I got my
registration notice in the mail, and noticed some text on it about
emissions testing, and a few circumstances that apparently exempt a car
from the tests.
71-73 mustang engine swap, power &mpg?? what fits??12 Aug 2006 02:24 GMT6
Is there a website with a reference chart of what engines will fit into
a 71-73 mustang. Basicly, I'm looking for something that will fit
without making any mods and will give me power and 20mpg. Does it
exist??
My 302 runs better on hot days11 Aug 2006 18:01 GMT2
Hi all.  I have noticed that my 84 Ford Thunderbird with 302 & EFI runs
better on hot days.    On cool days it has normal acceleration but on
hot days, like today at 100 degrees F it has a lot more power.  Why is
that?  The engine and transmission are from an 85 30th anniversery
