Ping?30 Jan 2007 01:52 GMT4
This is no doubt a stupid question, but you have to start somewhere.

"pinging"?  This is a 351C 4V with modifications.  Never fails to
start at first turn of key and has plenty of power.
91 mustang LX 5.0 power door lock voltage problem30 Jan 2007 00:16 GMT2
OK here it goes.  Just replaced the actuator on the drivers side and
the power lock functions great.  Before i installed it i tested the

passenger side.  The brand new actuator only unlocks.  It does not

axle hub but instead the wheel got centered by the lugs and lug nuts.
At some point Ford started making the wheels and hubs such that the
hub centered the wheel and it no longer relied on the lugs to do the

Intermittent no start when hot 2004 Mustang27 Jan 2007 00:21 GMT1
I have a 2004 Mustang, with about 11k miles, with an intermittent no
start problem.  It began after it got cold outside and I began running
the heat in the car, I had no problems in the summer or through
mid-fall.  What happened was that on cold days, after the car warmed up

Okay I am having a problem that has plagues me for about 80000 miles
and nobody can give me a clue including Ford. When my engine is warm
and stuck at a standstill in idle it misses horribly like it is about
to die. Occasionally at lights the tach jumps from 800 to a grand and

horsepower rating25 Jan 2007 14:55 GMT9
Have read the Boss 302 was rated at 290 HP but actually
produced more like 400 HP.  The 4V Cleveland was rated
280 to 300 HP.  Is it possible it also produced more HP?
351C w/ Aussie Heads24 Jan 2007 03:35 GMT2

I built a 351C from an unbored block, had the shop bore it 0.030" over,
