Buying Advice? Trying to make the deam come true10 Jan 2007 13:56 GMT10
It's time to reward my wife for all of her years of hard work and
devotion and putting up with my sh*t. The kids are mostly out of the
house now. The only thing she ever asked for was a Mustang, and then
sort of half-jokingly, but I know she's always wanted one. I'm going to
Sick 83 drop-top10 Jan 2007 06:50 GMT4
I'm attempting to diagnose and fix a steering column on a 1983
Mustang GLX Conv. w/ tilt no delay. Once I got it apart I could see
that the lock housing was broken in two halves. The extent of the
damage I fear is more than I can fix. I'm not sure what needs to be
Got new wheels, now brakes shudder10 Jan 2007 05:53 GMT3
HI, I got new wheels for my 67 mustang and I am pretty sure they were
put on with a torq stick to prevent overtightening and therefore
warping of the drums, but still when I stop the brakes and brake pedal
shudder to the point where I am scared to drive.  Could this be

RAMFM - How I remember thee...09 Jan 2007 06:16 GMT30
Wow,
I haven't visited anything related to USENET in quite a while.  I
didn't even set it up when I got my current laptop.  I thought I'd stop
by ol' RAMFM and see if it was still alive.
AOD problems....07 Jan 2007 04:23 GMT4
Hi, I thought I'd throw it out here before committing to any costly
repairs (i.e. tranny rebuild, ouch).... I also did a search in this
group but don't really know if what I found really applies to me.
Lately, the AOD on my 89' Mustang LX has been slipping into neutral at
C4 trans problems06 Jan 2007 22:02 GMT2
Hoping I can get a little help here.  I have a 73 Bronco rebuilt 302
and C4 with about 2000 miles on both.  Got in it yesterday and noticed
my kid probably had moved the transfer case shifter.  I moved it back
to 2wd backed out of the garage.  When I put trans into park there was

86 GT 5.0 Idle Question04 Jan 2007 04:17 GMT4
I have a 1986 Mustang GT 5.0 with the five speed manual trans.  After warm
up and when idling, the engine idle speed "surges" (ie. it varies up and
down, slightly, but noticeably).
Anyone had any experience with this, what is the matter and what I might do

Exhaust system for 2007 GT *************03 Jan 2007 15:14 GMT5
Hey I would like to get an exhaust system to get a deeper, throatier
sound out of my GT. I see where Ford Racing has 2 systems around $300
which basically just replace from the convertor to the rear. One is
legal in 49 states the other 50 states.
