Sellers of vintage/muscle cars beware. If you have placed an ad for
your vintage car you will get a call from 2 german guys (Stephen and
Jens) wanting to see it. They pretend to speak very little english.
After they arrive they appear to speak very good english but are
Speed Calibration!17 Feb 2007 02:19 GMT4
Good day guys,
I got 4.10 gears installed in my 00 GT. The speed odometer is not reading
the actual speed. I know SpeedCal is the needed thing in here, but I'm
just too busy with school and work. I talked to some people and it seems

Ford gets a clue13 Feb 2007 20:59 GMT78
I have been blasting Ford for abandoning their long time model names
like the Cougar, Thunderbird and, most of all, the Taurus.  Now it
appears that Alan Mulally (Ford's new CEO) is wondering the same thing I
have been.  This guy might be showing some promise.
2001 mustang convertible13 Feb 2007 00:56 GMT1
I have a 2001 mustang convertible that drips water from the fold near the
back window. Took it into the shop and they said when water sits in the fold
after a number of years it has rotted the fabric. To fix it, requires new
fabric which has the rear window attached for about ...
starts then quits12 Feb 2007 04:19 GMT3
My 98 cobra will start and run for about 5 minutes then quit, it will fire
right back and do the same thing. It will quit while going down the road
too but will start right up again. Does anyone have any ideas of what
could be wrong? Thanks

I've got a 70 mustang.... I want to install an electric fuel pump for
my new motor. Where's the best location? I've been told it needs to be
below the tank.
All replies appreciated. Thanks...
head gasket repair11 Feb 2007 04:47 GMT3
I pass thru this newsgroup occasionally since I bought an  '06 mustang a
year ago.  I think this is my first post and I apologize for it not being
mustang related.  But I believe there are many knowledgeable mechanics hear
that may have some good advice.

headers for 1965 6 cyl 200 cu in09 Feb 2007 01:15 GMT4
I am replacing the exhaust manifold (1965 6 cylinder, 200 cu in.,
3-speed).  I was originally just going to replace it with a new exhaust
manifold and then I got to thinking about replacing it with headers (I
realize I'd have to deal with the exhaust pipe too).  I've seen headers ...
351C 4v - Engine Detailing08 Feb 2007 14:51 GMT1
I'm looking to detail my 351C 4V next weekend and would appreciate any
photos and / or URLs which could assist me in the process (color of
pulleys, power steering pump, air cleaner, etc.).  There's only 4 1970
Mach 1s in South Africa, so there's not much reference material.

Jean and I are looking ahead to vacation and we're thinking about San
Francisco and the Pacific Coast Highway. (This could be the start of a
series of Great Roads vacations... Yeah, baby!)
F------ moron truck drivers06 Feb 2007 03:53 GMT2
One of THE most annoying urban manifestations is the reverse beeping
warning of trucks.  Truckdrivers, if you intend to back up, just
f------ DO it!  Don't sit their with your reverse gear engaged waiting
for who knows what for minutes on end.  Most of you are already
